    Sometimes the tacho/rev counter has a problem with the signal of the MSD, the permatune is a 1:1 replacement of the Bosch box and has therefore no issues.

    But you might also find out that your Tacho is anyway out of sync showing to much revs at low end but too less at high rpms.

    you can probably buy the 7 series cylinder to scavange the guts and a brake cyl hone and rebuild yours. thats what i did with my clutch slave.
