As a Southpaw, driving in the right hand seat and shifting with My left hand feels perfectly natural (doubt I'd have enough strength in My right arm to shift the gear lever! ). I'd have to say also that pulling the gear-lever towards Me whilst changing up through the gears feels more natural than pushing it away as you have to in a LHD. Added to all that, RHD is more in keeping with Enzo Ferrari's first cars! (Both the Auto Avio Costruzioni 815 and the Ferrari 125S were RHD!)
Great job, all done in that compact but serious little garage. Also admired the use of the clothesline. Top marks! John
87 GTS: Your car is looking absolutely fantastic! - There are plenty of restoration companies out there who could learn a thing or two about how to restore a car from you! (Having got it looking that immaculate it would almost a shame to take it out on the road and get it dirty!)
I have really enjoyed this thread - it shows what is possible in your own garage. Well done. I'm looking to refurb my suspension this winter. I note that you painted the A-arms (IMO it is preferable to powder coating) - do you have a spray gun or did you use rattle cans? To be honest, I am actually thinking of just using a brush as it's not like you can see the things.

I see you went with painting the rear deck spoiler body color. Is that the way it came? Just wondering cause mine is body color as well. Nice work
Impressive work!!! Plan to do the same some day on my 87. Where did you source most of your parts? Interesting, I have the same exact plate "87 GTS" only New York, yeah "87 328" was already taken! Once I get the 1932 32 foot wooden runabout restored...I'll get right to it. Keep the beer flowing and keep us posted. Best of luck!!!!
