My point(s) exactly and it was a combination of both coming together team and driver yet Gordon thinks Im a hater in the face of the FACTS that caused this lol! I dont hate LH and give him more than enough credit as driver and WDC. THEY stopped at Monaco, and lacked a nice bit of 'situational awareness' as even the Brit press have pointed out. Tough to swallow that I know but its FACT LOL!

For reasons unknown, there are folk on here that spout vitriol and nonsense about Hamilton, so for some this comes across...and I can see why that happens, it is pathetic IMO, but que sera sera...

 

Finally we all (almost) realise everyone pretty much thinks the same about what happened, wich is.
Lewis and Merc managed to svcrew a perfect race...both of them.....**** happens...as someone wisely said, you don't stop at Monaco unless you REALLY have to, period.

 

Jackie Stewart won his championships either against no name team mates in a dominant car or with the help of team orders. Lewis would wipe the floor with him. I am all for banning team radio. Just look at the advantage Lewis pulled over Nico once they banned team coaching.

Funny you (and the paper) mention Monaco 1992...this is what I had in mind all the time, but I was too afraid to write it, because I feared that everyone would say "oh come on, please, it is so obvious, and we all KNOW our classics"...
Incidentally, to me 1992 marked the beginning of my dislike of this race...I thought then: "well, if even with a superior car and fresh tyres it is indeed impossible to pass, why should I watch that race anymore?"
But since that race, as Pedro said, everyone should know that you don't stop during the Monaco Grand Prix, unless you really have to.

Well if people are going to attempt to speak English they can at least get it correct. I wouldn't even attempt to speak Spanish because I know I would butcher it.

Anyway, no one needs to be a grammar Nazi (that **** gets annoying) but generally trying to at least spell correctly makes things much easier to read. He doesn't even make an effort.
