Hi all, after an intensive search and a lot of guidance from my friend Sherpa 23, I pulled the trigger on my first 348. I did not intend to buy a 348, but about 5 weeks ago I saw some pics and contrary to many years ago when I had a 355, I really like the feel and style of the 348. I also like the idea of the mechanical feel of this vintage era. I don't have the car yet but am confident I am getting a very good car and if the intrigue wears off or I change my mind, I will not get hurt. She's a 92 TS with 21900 miles, a fresh belt service, water pump and clutch. Service records go back to 1996 and are very complete. All the interior bits have been redone, has tools, case, cover, all books and manuals and 2 keys. She has had 2 owners. The seller took me on an exhaustive 25 minute walk around and answered all my questions over many (trust me!) phone calls. Has even given me a written money back window with free return shipping. I will add to this when I get the car, but that won't be until mid+ June as we are going to be unavailable to get delivery until then. Here are some pics though that I thought I would share.

Congratulations. Sounds like a very clean deal, especially with the money back guarantee AND the free shipping. The seller obviously stands behind his vehicle.
Dave, yes I hope to get a set of stock wheels to go with all the other sets in my garage! Always good to have. Seller is supposed to contact former owner who might have them still. Thanks to all for the good wishes.

Here is the dealer listing. Not sure how long it's been there, but it didn't come up in any of my searches. Looks like a great one, and no tan interior! Used 1992 Ferrari 348 TS for sale in Kingston, PA | Rayco Eurospec Motorcars
I live about 15 miles from rayco , if that car is local to our area the owner must not have driven it much. , i 've never seen or heard of it . This is a small town , there are only a few around here , and this one is unknown to me , looks like a nice car . Good luck. ! Respectable people there at rayco .theyve been in business as long as i can remember . 1994 ferrari 348 spider , third owner purchased may 2013 w/ 27804 miles
John, If you find yourself close to Rayco, swing by and pm me your impressions. I found the owner, his wife and service manager to all be very nice, helpful and straight forward....all very good qualities when buying long distance!
thanks all, very much looking forward to getting the car. We are traveling and I have to wait until 3rd week in June to get the car. Seems like a long time!
Looks super clean! But i'm confused about this being a '92?? They stopped using that roof antenna after 1990, and they changed the front grille after 1991. And it has a July 1991 build date? That doesn't make any sense either? Typically production of any given year model begins in September of the previous year? Not trying to make waves, but something is weird... My instincts tell me that this is a 1991 and someone added the roof antenna. Its entirely possible that this car was not first sold until sometime in 1992, but there may a story on this car you'll want to be aware of.
