    Tom,
The MFH Firestone tires look very good. Question on the rivet detail..... Do they provide separate rivet heads to fit into those recess's or is that it?

They do not provide any rivets for the body!! I think the nose looks more like #0856 or #0858 with a center duct than #0846, but in fairness #0846 had several noses even in 1966. I will post photos of the Mini Delta nose next to the Hiro nose. Mini Delta made the nose the way the car looked at Sebring in 1966 as a P3. Hiro tried to make the nose look like a mix of all P4's combined with the #0846 center duct.

Still I think the Hiro kit is very nice. It does lack the crazy super detailed body and cockpit of the Mini Delta, but it also has a fully detailed chassis that looks great.

Yes Mini Delta says they will sell rivet sets separately for those wanting to use them on Hiro P4 kits.

Nose on left is definitely WRONG for any P Ferrari ... maybe they modelled it off 0858 when it was being ruined (IMO),

Mini Delta rivets are 28€ shipping included for the 1.500 rivets. They look better than anything else I have seen when on the model painted and do not require drilling.

Just to weigh in on this too....... I completely agree with Tom. Mini Delta is an excellent and very accurate replica.

Well you are right, my bad! If making #0846 as a P3 use the nose in the left, otherwise use the one in the right for P3/4 :)

    Good stuff

Man you guys are tough. Compare the two photos, they show how the noses are the same. The windshield does appear to be too high. But in the right hands this model would make for a very nice collectable. A 1/12 scale model of a Ferrari sports car has a presence.

I will see Patrick in 2 weeks and will ask him what he thinks of the Hiro, and will take a few extra sets of rivets back home ;-)

The RSK's are a re-release, I already have them (must have been popular and sold out quickly first time around)
Good to see the AC Coupe at last - thought they had abandoned it

More photos of the 312 F1 1967. They did the Monaco and Monza versions. One of the noses on the Monaco version is to short. They did test 2 noses, and the one in the race was shorter and more square, but not that short. I hope they supply both noses in the Monaco kit. Amazing model otherwise, although you will need another set of Mini Delta rivets!! I like the shape of the wheels and tires a lot better than on the 1/24th and 1/20th Hiro 312 F1 kits.

    2 years ago I studied for a customer, a full model of 312 F1 1968 at 1/12 scale.
After lot of hours spent to make all 3D CAD files, most of parts were 3D printed.
Other parts was done by hand and lathe.
Unfortunately, project was canceled due to growing of MFH 1/12 kit range.
    It's sad, but that's life...

Below, some of the renderings and pictures of the project.

Cooper T53 1960 F1 kit by FPPM in 1/24th scale in the flesh.

That 1968 1/12th scale project looks very nice. I am not sure how long Hiro will keep releasing 1/12th full detail kits at one a month. A lot of even the diehard Hiro cheerleaders over on F1M are starting to complain they can't afford them all, let alone build them all. Curbside does serve a purpose :)

Wow! The MFH kits are just insane... I can't believe how detailed they are! Are they as accurate as the real thing? Do they have people (engineers? Draftsmen?) who go and inspect the real cars? I just can't believe the level that they manufacture kits at...

I am pretty sure it is a 1/12th scale Lancia 037 gearbox.
