    Early Gt4's have stainless steel hubcaps like these and I am cleaning mine up and getting the correct dino badge on there.

    My question is - what is the finish of the flat surface of the hubcap?

    It seems mine have almost a soft brush finish, whereas the reverse side is more chrome like.

    Metal polish or very fine steel wool to clean the up the surface?

    The hubcaps on my 208 GT4 (1976, s/n 12252) are chromed, see attached picture. In the original brochure they look like polished metal so maybe there are two versions.

    Interesting! suggests there were different finishes over time.
