I was reading this article: Ferrari 458 Speciale Wrapped in XPEL Stealth Paint Protection
I am very interested to do the same with my Speciale, but since I live in the Northeast it is not practical to have it done in WA. There are several Master installers in my aerea but I probably will be their guinea pig for something extensive as this. This is PhD level installation. Can anyone make a recommendation?
    Thanks
    Marco

Place that did my car: www.blockachip.com near Cleveland. Does all my cars since 2003. I'd say one of the best in the country.

Do they also do the extensive paint correction as decribed in the article?

    Marco,

Where in the northeast are you located?

Have you checked out the XPEL LOCATOR: locator.xpel.com

You can PM us your location or just reply here and we will try to recommend an installer that will do an excellent job for you.

My dilemma is that a very well renowned XPEL installer got the following review from my sales person "Marco: COMPANY X installation leave gaps in front coverage where body has curves....looks terrible!!" I do not feel my sales person has an ulterior motive. He genuinely wants the best for me but I do not like the orange peel effect of your competitor's product.

I am sure you stand behind all your installers but it appears to me not all installers are equal. I will PM my location. I do not want to throw anyone under the bus. Any other suggestions are very welcome of course.

Oakes did a good job on the XPel for my 360, a couple little flaws but a good job overall.

I would also recommend EJ at Rock Guard (RockGuard Paint Protection Film) he just did one of our C&C guys cars (I think 4 of his cars) and I have to say, it is amazing! Can't tell there is film on there until you find the hidden edges, no flaws that I noticed.

Both of these guys are closer to Philly than Pittsburgh though!
