I love beer. US craft beers, most European.
Love Budweiser Pardál, plus their other beers.
Of course some beers are goid with some foods. When I am up in the Lofoten Islands I love
to drink Mack Haakon with my fish!

We're in Wisconsin in Elkhart Lake for a few days. Got a New Glarus Spotted Cow and had to get my wife a six pack. Really good beer, it's simple up front with a complex finish. Yeast in the bottle I think. Highly recommended if you're in Wisconsin, they say they don't ship it out of the state which is a shame.

Some describe it as a cream ale....which kinda makes sense. LOTS of people like it..seems to be a crossover......craft beer fans like it, as well as domestic adjunct lager lovers. Too sweet for me but I prefer an IPA.

Wife and I went out with friends last night, and enjoyed one of these. Nice beer with a coffee taste. Wouldn't had though a good combo, but I enjoyed it a lot.

I was in California a couple of weeks ago and my son in law had some Pliny the Elder from Russian River Brewery. I was not impressed. What's the big deal with the stuff??? Way over hopped with a not so great finish. Really dry and biting.

    I wish!
That was at Cluny Bistro which is a nice French bistro decorated the same as my house, which is probably why I love it there so much.

Had some of that when I was on business in Chicago. It was ok. Would likely have tasted even better on a hot Texas day...T

How's that possible in the land of Molson & Labatt beer?!? And, the Jays lost to the suddenly hot Phillies. That is sad. Oh well, bad day at the stadium is better than a good day at work. :)

For whatever reason I always pronounce Stella Artois as Stella Artwat. Initially because I thought it was funny (to me), but now I just say it without thinking about it.

Had this a few weeks ago. Pretty good but can't drink more than a couple otherwise I'd expect a stomach ache. Just like real root beer.
