    I was surprised to see so much body damage on the car from rust. Was the body not undercoated? My Pf coupe was given, hmmm, a rather liberal undercoating and has no rust, I expect it was applied by some shop other than Pininfarina or the factory.

    Beautiful car and the work looks superb. We had the great joy of viewing Bob Ames' Lusso last weekend at Forest Grove, a beautiful shade of light gray, a little lighter than on our Pf coupe. Thanks for the terrific photos.

    I have been wanting a Lusso or way to long... and you're not helping here. Incredible paint - looks amazing!! I want one, I want one, I want one!
    No chance you'll be done by Concorso is there?

    I'm the latest owner of this wonderful car and am trying to contact Roberto Benelli who was the first owner, Friend of Enzo and has who has intersting memories of this car. I'm trying to get in touch with him.

    Does anybody have this contact details- or where i can contact him- Much appreciated,

    Congrats on the car Andy, she is stunning.

    Is Roberto Benelli still alive? He would have taken delivery of that car over 50 years ago.

    Apparently so- i've just done a google search and it appears he is the President of the Mugello circuit. if anybody has any contact details they can PM it would be really appreciated.

    Also if anyone has the email of Emiliano Torkar at Ferrari classiche as he had a long conversation with Roberto about the car- He should have Roberto' email/ contact.

    Nice project which seems to be heading to completion soon. The pictures of the raw body showed what a nice example of Italian hand hammering you have. Thank you for sharing the restoration.

    This thread is quiet old- The car has just been completed to a high standard. Anything that wasn't quiet right has been corrected by Paul Russell Restos. The car is on a plane to the UK as we speak.

    I'm having photos taken once she clears customs next week- I'll post them here then,

    I've had a bit of Luck as i contacted an Italian who knows Benelli and he say he will be able to get a letter from him- In Italian- No problem so fingers crossed on that one.
