I think that is a gift / business card from the dealership.
    Pretty cool idea.

That's probably what it is, but it sure looks like it's supposed to be mounted via the four screw holes???

No, my thought was that it was to replace an existing plate, but there is nothing I can find around the doors, dash, engine or trunk that is the same size. Was just wondering if I had missed something?

Looks like that's just a creative gesture of appreciation of your purchase.

Most likely, it's your choice of where you want to rivet it on the car or simply display it somewhere.

I would rivet it to a piece of tan leather and make a key fob out of it.

That is super cool. I would either mount it in the car somewhere, maybe rivet to floor mat, trunk carpet or on the front of a nice binder to keep your receipts in.

You already have plates like that in the car. Plus this one has your name on it. Put it on your desk (at work or home).

Thank you ALL for the great suggestions! Think I'll just silicone it to my forehead till I come up with the best alternative.

I like the placement, but instead of silicone, use 4 screws. It's a much cleaner install.

Thats an awesome idea from the dealer.
I bought a new Golf GTi last year and a lemon tree arrived a week later.
    A lemon tree!
