I believe the SLC and Seattle cars are U.S. Spec.

A brilliant response, and couldn't agree more. Thank you. You capture perfectly why we love our 599 GTOs.

The Cleveland car makes a 4th GTO listing in the US. The Seattle GTO is erroneously listed in cars.com as a 599GTB. I think autotrader.com has it listed correctly as a GTO. All priced between $700K-$750K.

    Stephen,

Great response and thanks for dedicating the time and passion into each of your answers. I'm sure you will have noticed that I've done the same for a long time along with other first hour GTO owners. I'm glad to see that it pays off and that other enthusiasts are starting to take over our role. I'll admit, I've been busy lately and do not always have the time to "defend" the GTO on the board. In stead I try to spend as much time in the care as possible. Mine hit the 22,000 km mark on the way back from Spa Saturday evening after a day of driving at the track in wet and tricky conditions (with the 458 Challenge mind you).

My friend and Challenge colleague brought his LaFerrari to Spa (great spec) and a truly magnificent mind blowing car. He has multiple Ferrari's in his collection but when I asked him which cars he would never get rid off he named his GTO instantly as it ticks all the boxes. I even asked him if he wanted to sell me his GTO and I think you all know what the answer was …

All I can say to my fellow GTO owners is … don't think too much about value and miles. Drive the beast and enjoy it. How can you put a price on that? Values are going up and will continue to go up. Yes, the ones with lower mileage will obtain higher resale values but what have you lost in return that money can't pay you back.

As Napolis states: "Not driving your Ferrari is like saving your girlfriend for the next boyfriend." A statement which very much applies to the 599 GTO in my opinion.

    Happy motoring …

    Cheers,

    M

I broke the 3000 mile mark on Saturday and really try to enjoy each and every mile. Problem with Long Island/NYC driving is the outrageously poor road conditions due to an extremely cold snow laden winter. The municipalities are doing their best to fill in the massive amount of potholes as quickly as possible, but I have to say that many roads still look like a war zone. Since I don't want to treat me GTO as a WRC car (although it probably would make a fun rally car) things have been tough out here. Hopefully the road conditions will improve over the next few months and I will be able to pile on some more miles without damaging my baby.

Well … Duffy decided to part ways with his wonderful GTO and traded it for an F12. Congrats Duffy but sad to see you leave the club so had to adjust the list.

@ ROMO / Tortesque: please pick it up so I can put it back on the list ;)

Hope to see new owners chime in soon …

    Meanwhile, happy motoring.

I've added another GTO to the stable. The VIN is ZFF70RCA1B0179533.

It's Rosso Fuoco/Nero Alcantara with the Grigio Silverstone Livery stripe.

I've posted pictures of the car under a different thread named in the 599/612 section. :)
