The second leg was rough as you can see the clouds. In the crj200 it was certainly a bumpy finish decending into fort Wayne. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Speaking of the crj200...don't know why it's rotated but the airport gives you a close up view of the little regional jets. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think it is rotated because it has something to do with iOS converting to Rob's format. It drives me a little nuts when I am trying to post photos on F-Chat. I have had to jump through a lot of hoops to get it to post correctly. I think the file extension has to be .jpg, not whatever comes through iOS. Can we get a little help with that, Rob?
Copper mountain solar farm just south of Boulder city and the Colorado River just downstream of Hoover dam........on the wrong side of the airplane to take a decent pic of the latter. The solar farm at 600 MW is huge even from the air on approach to LAS. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Some storms working magic in Atlanta with delays and cancellations. I'm grounded for a bit here but got some cool pictures before we landed. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Those photos reminded me of the Per Gint (spl) Suite) and " The Hall of The Mountain King." Good stuff to show the "Cave of the wind'.
Why's that? Looks like after a 2 hour delay, and the sun saying goodbye, I'll be on the way shortly. The company purchased these on tickets so wouldn't you know it I'll be in the back right in front of the engines. Who said something about experiencing that and an md88? Nickname for C-5.... I have always heard that it stood for ****ing Ridiculous Economic Disaster though Tim probably knows a bit more.
I've been told it got this nickname because it ran over budget when it was being designed in the 60's, and all the A models built up to a certain date had to have their wing boxes replaced in the 70's due to cracking. The B model also lives up to its nickname with reliability and maintenance issues. Otherwise, its a great ship.
