Interior Trim Question 308GTS

My Euro 308GTS has vinyl trim underneath the seats that match the carpets. It appears to have been replaced at some stage but many years ago.

Was this standard practise by Ferrari to fit vinyl to the floor under the seats or should it be carpet?

Yes, there's a patch of vinyl between the seat rails...

 

Yep, here is what mine looked like when I restored my interior. I just cleaned it up and put it back in.

Thanks, that looks very similar to mine.

I am changing the carpets back to the original colour has someone in its previous history changed the colour scheme to blue. It should be corda, or that's what the original build sheet says it was!!

 

When I redid my interior my upholsterer made some new panels since I was changing colour.
