I've had my 16M for over a year now. I bought it with 5800 miles. It now has about 13000. I'm driving it. Since I have absolutely no intention of selling it any time soon, I don't really care how much it might be worth. However, not driving it seems to be almost a sin, so the miles will pile up. Next week, a road trip to Lake Placid in the Adirondacks. This is what this car was meant for, zipping through all the great roads in the area.

Just to mention I am casually in the market for a VERY nice low mileage (say under 7k ) mile 16m in the right color if you are seriously interested in selling a NICE no stories 16 m Pm me.
I do not mind paying market not interested in way over market. I like red maybe yellow and white no black.. extra for white or rosso Scuderia consider anything but black must have factory stripe.. No story's car must have clean car fax..
NO hurry but would move quick for the right car and I am in the good old USA this is for my personal collection and NOT for resale

    Best of luck Larry!
It's a phenomenal vehicle and I hope you find one soon. I can't see myself letting go of mine, as it possesses a nice place in history (fastest SCT with NA engine Ferrari has ever made for a production car).
You do raise a good question - I'm not sure what market value is as there are so few FS.

My car sounds like the perfect one for you rosso scuderia with under 3000 miles

The only issue I am like you in a way, I am toying with idea to let it go but not for current market price tho, as nice as the current market price is for these cars, the car itself is to nice to sell at current market price, atleast to me anyway and many other 16m owners.

169636 was recently purchased by a local guy here in Omaha, the leather interior Bieber car. He brought his Diablo to C&C on Saturday as the 16M is already having issues with the gearbox.

Had a feeling that one was priced cheap for a reason--especially when it initially sold from the guy in Miami.

Since he bought it, I've been following the car. From this thread I've learned that it was sold in January 2015 asking $208k before being marked up nearly $70k by two dealers when this owner initially purchased it. I have no idea what he paid, but I am fairly certain he bought it from Crave Luxury.

Given the appreciation if he bought in the low 200s that probably covers the repairs + some upside so a nice way to get into a really fun car to drive. Hopefully he was able to negotiate well with Crave.

Speak of the devil, I ran across the car tonight at a local car show. Didn't get a chance to talk to the owner, but got some pics of the car. Has little imperfections all the way around, but nothing crazy.

Wow, $379k. Has the price of this car just sky-rocketed over the last year? Curious if these are now actually selling at this price. Is there anyone online who has made a recent purchase of a 16M in the $300k+ range?

Ok, I'm looking for collective wisdom here. I have a rare color CS, Med Blu with 15k mi. Apparently only the CS in this color. Interior is red/black alcantera, beautiful looks and sound. Although I don't like the looks of the 16M as much, it is the only car to tempt me away from the CS.

There is a yellow 16M fairly close by. It has about 14k mi. and asking price is basically $300k. Is that price high for the mileage? As I can't keep both, will I regret trading the CS for the 16M, assuming the deal is acceptable? I'm not even sure what too ask for my car. Any help will be appreciated.

BTW, I've never driven a Scud or 16M.

CS have appreciated a lot recently. Check out the thread on values here and you will get good help on where to list it. The 16m is much faster and has no roof. 16m/scud acceleration is pretty ferocious. It is also lower production, but the Scuderia is higher production than the CS and 16m. 16m has also appreciated quite a bit recently, but was already doing well a year ago.

So no, I don't think asking 300k is out of the question, because name another car for the same money with the same experience as the 16m? Your car is probably worth over 200k right now, but the CS guys could help you zero in on a proper asking price - specifically stokpro.

Good luck - fun problem to have ; )

I had a RC CS before my 16M. CS was a great car but I've never regretted the change, 4 years later and there is nothing I would swop for the 16M. I have fitted a full Capristo system with remote valve control. The Scud/16M is probably a CS at 120% except for the gearbox where it is simply a revelation and the best gearbox bar none I have ever used - no DCT comes close. Add to that taking the roof down and at any speed you will simply have a permanent smile. It is the ability to entertain at any speed that I think the CS/Scud/16M all share and something that I've not experienced outside of this grouping.

I can't remember exactly where but I think someone on fchat mentioned they got a circa 285 wholesale bidder for his 16m. I don't remember if he mentioned the mileage or condition and it was a while ago. Obviously very difficult to know actual transaction prices unless the sellers chime in. One thing though, we can probably get some clues from the market by looking at close alternative transactions. IE the relative increase in CS and 599 GTO prices. Also the scud price increases adjusted by the larger supply. I would think a 16 I would trade about 125 to 175 above a CS for example.

The prices I see in the UK are really something and someone from HR Owen was telling me there were some very high priced transactions in the UK.

I am with you 100% on the gearbox.. It really is awesome.. Brings a different dimension to the car. I have another car that is dual clutch and I like it for how refined and smooth it is and it is perfect for a daily driver. However the Superfast box in the scud enhances the event experience and the fact it is lighter is the cherry on top.

Recent sale of very low mileage 16M in UK at £395k. Market is currently very strong and I have had 2 dealers trying to buy mine for cash at near 1.5 x list.

£395k is about 615k USD. How is the market in the UK nearly double that of the US?

I recently checked on the dupont registry and they seem to come and go. Recently there were 2, but no longer anymore. When removed from the registery, I assume this means they have been sold?
