There's a sweet one I know of in the 3rd or 4th season. The one where the lawyer is married to the wealthy woman and ends up dead. I'll find it on the dvd :)

I sold my Testarossa a couple of weeks ago and bought a McLaren 12c. The car is astonishingly good in every conceivable way! It is on a whole other level than the competition IMHO. You will love the 670s.

BTW- those who think the Testarossa market is dead don't know what the F--- they are talking about. That is all I have to say on the subject.

Going to see the 670 unveiling in DC on June 25. It should be interesting. I plan to keep the 360 3-pedal.

Did the dealer take your TR in trade Joe?

I ultimately did. My car was well known in the region and had an exceptional provenance. It wasn't even for sale and I was getting cold calls from brokers and interested parties and the numbers were very strong. One day out of the blue I decided to go to McLaren to look at a couple of cars they had on the lot. They suggested I test drive the McLaren 12c. I drove it and fell instantly head over heels. I had to have the car! To their credit they made me a very fair offer on the Testarossa and I bought the car the next day!

I loved my Testarossa... But the McLaren is about as perfect a sports car experience I have ever had and I have driven a boat load of sports cars. You will love the 670s

I did a big feature for one of our magazines on 650s vs 458 last year. Had to choose a winner..

    It

    Was

    Very

    Hard.

Still thinking about it. McLarens amazing cars. Ferraris are Ferraris. Would I swap my 512M for a 650S? It wouldn't be an easy call.

Enjoy. Hope it's an orange one (Mclaren press cars orange, look great)

I drove a 650s (I think) spyder. I donno.....I just got the feeling it couldn't decide what it wanted to be. It's sort of stuck in between Ferrari on one side and Lamborghini on the other.

We have two completely opposite takes on her!!!

    LOL!

What I like about the McLaren is just the opposite. I felt like the only thing it wanted to be was the best supercar in the world according to its definition of what that meant. There is no pantomime or theater like you get with Ferrari and Lambo. It's deadly serious about its mission and doesn't waste time with anything gimmicky. It's formula one lineage is traced to the carbon fiber tub and unique differential, etc... Not to buttons on a steering wheel.

Honestly, as someone who has read just about every book out there on Enzo Ferrari... I firmly believe this is the car he would build if he were alive.... I think that is what draws me to it... It has a purity of purpose that I adored in classic Ferraris.

I guess that is why baskin Robbins has 32 flavors!

I like your description! I guess I just prefer...as you call it "theater" I just just love to be blown away by the sheer presence of a car and the drama of its artist flair.

Yep.....just a Lamborghini guy at heart lol

Post some pix....let's see you enjoying it.

I don't fault you that one bit! Believe me, the countach and Diablo are among my favorite cars ever. The countach in particular is among the most beautiful cars ever created and probably the most fun car I have ever driven. The world definitely needs more theater and I miss the days of the countach and Testarossa squaring off... I guess for right now I am looking for something a little different and the 12c completes me :D

You two get the hell out of here with all this Mcclaren talk. Who blew joe at Mcclaren. Lol. You must be short and skinny if you think the countach is fun to drive. I could barely fit in it.

The Ferrari is hot and sexy. A f*ckable b*tch. Just enough whore and class. The Mcclaren hmmm. She's too tight from working out to much. One clinch of the butt cheeks and she can snap it off. Joe joe joe. You want soft, supple, curves, and most of all you want her to smell like fresh nectar. Not degree antiperspirant and taking her shower at the gym. I will have none of that. Nectar wins every time. It's sweet and tasty. Quenches your thirst. Sticky too. WAKE UP. Mcclaren. YOU GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE.

    R

Ps. Mcclaren f1 does not apply. Lol.

The McLaren is the girl with the Audrey Hepburn looks that you notice out of the corner of your eye while you are chasing after this dumb ass supermodel with her buckets of drama... Lady McLaren walks slowly up to you

....and in her soft sultry voice whispers in your ear....

When you are ready for a real woman, call me.

...and a Lamborghini is like a super hot 6'2" tall thin blonde runway model in a short tight titanium glitter dress, red lipstick and dark shades. She knows everyone's checking her out...she's hot....she knows it.
She'll cost you a fortune. ....but riding her, oh...so good.
