HOU Ferrari and Exotic Spotters

An all black 355 Spider at Willie's at 249 and Cypresswood yesterday evening. Also, an all black 550 on Louetta around lunch time.

 

This is not a Hammer, the Hammer was based on the smaller E-Class (300E) and fitted with a widebody and V8. There is probably less than 5 Hammers in the U.S, including one known wagon.

Although the exact number is unknown, as some cars have been imported from Japan and Canada there are probably less than 30 of these cars in the U.S, that is genuine widebody AMG 500/560SEC cars.

No never offered through the dealer or MB, this was an aftermarket kit strictly.

There was a doctor in Tyler during the late 80's that had a AMG modified 300 E but it was not a Hammer, just looked like one. Also, I recall seeing several AMG modded cars while visiting South Florida during the 80's.

The AMG 560SEC that I'm thinking of is real, amazing how rare they are!!

Also at least one AMG 500 sedan of that vintage out here, as well.

Saw a black 458 while driving back to Houston from Austin this weekend.

 

Heading down 290 this morning there was a charcoal grey Aventador flying past in the hotlane near Huffmeister. Such a great sound

Saw a very cool blue 348 spyder yesterday on 646 at 270. Very nice

 

There should be some sort of 'bonus point' award of some kind for pictures added.
