1989 328 red/beige 22,100 miles $189,900 (not sure if its an S or a B) no pix yet ZFFXA19A5K0082566 so B with Transmission: F1 !!! That is explain price ?
Not exactly a bargain right now, but hey, go figure what you save in fuel costs, and you don't have to worry when passing some toll booths either !! Ferrari 328 GTS als Cabrio/Roadster in Bologna
My god.......I cringe at the thought of who will be the unfortunate souls who get stuck with $150,000 328s when the music stops.......ugh. Things will start getting ugly in a HURRY when it does happen, please prepare yourselves this time around and be wise (for once)

I'm guessing the transmission is merely a typo by whoever input the data. I guess we will have to wait and see. Sure prices could go down, but maybe not. People pay the same money or more for VW buses with 22 window...and I wouldn't spend that on a VW bus. People are spending that on 930 Turbos...great cars but other than the 75-77 3.0 cars they are far from rare. In fact there are lots of cars I wouldn't spend that kind of money on, and yet other people do. It has also been interesting to hear from people who sold their 328s in the last year or 2, miss the cars and regret selling them (and not merely because of the increase in value). Its nice to see 328s finally being appreciated, and not merely disregarded at Ferrari events as merely entry level Fcars. In the end, good cars always sell for good money. Maybe these cars won't remain in the $150K range...but its unlikely we will see very nice examples back in the $50-60K range either.
I'm waiting in the wings hoping it is a bubble. I found a 328 that I would love to have but it is just more than I can spend at this point in my life. I figure if prices come down great if not hopefully my wealth will increase as I get older and someday I can purchase my dream car.
Well, 328's are great cars. Look fantastic, fun to drive, not crazy on the wallet. What's not to love? Are they worth $150k? Hard to say. Maybe that's just too much. But when Dino's went past $200k, that's when the floodgates opened. It was just a matter of time before Boxer's pushed past $150k and the values of 308/328 adjusted accordingly. If Dino's are worth $350k+, what then is the right value for a 328? Blame all this on the Dino. -F
It seems as if all these high dollar cars are being bought by dealers and a lot are going from dealer to dealer are any private buyers buying these 6 figure cars?
Looks like it's: GTS GTB GTS Removed The GTB is Hawkeye's old car, 75912. Apparently it shows well and was well maintained. There aren't too many silver US 328 GTB (three?). There does seem to be a lot of dealer to dealer sales right now. 82566 has bounced around over the last few months, getting more expensive in the process. -F
Pictures are up for the GTB Used 1988 FERRARI 328 For Sale | Fort Lauderdale FL | VIN: ZFFXA19A9J0075912
^ I wonder if that is the same silver/red car i saw for sale at LFSC years ago (must have been 2001 or 2002)
No. If our records are right that one is the other silver/red car that had been in an accident and poorly repaired and not Anthony's and Hawkeye's car which this one should be. I don't have my records here but Furman or someone else can check and confirm that this is the Anthony/chad silver car.
This is 75912 the Hawkeye/Anthony 328 GTB, one of two US 328 GTB in Argento/Rosso. Not sure if it passed through LFSC around 2001-2002. It could have been this car or 76514. Maybe the previous owners of either car will chime in and comment. The Argento US 328 GTB are: 61347 Arg/Beige Dec 85 Bob Sharp Motors 75912 Arg/R Jan 88 Miller Motorcars 76514 Arg/R Feb 88 LFSC 81203 Arg/Nero Below are pics of 75912 for posterity. I bet 61347 Arg/Beige is really pretty. What ever happened to that car? -F Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
my good friend way back machine confirms that the LFSC car was 76514...nice price https://web.archive.org/web/20020612010232/http://lfsc.com/html/detail.cfm?id=180
I sold 75912 in December 2014. I can tell you that it's a wonderful car. I had the major service done on it, along with some other miscellaneous services to make it 100%. When I had it, it was all original paint. Of course, I can't speak for its condition now, but I can't imagine it has changed much if at all. Whoever buys the car is getting a really great car in a stunning color combination.
75912 was a wonderful car at a reasonable price last fall. It is distressing to see that it is still in play and has not yet found a "forever home" with a caring owner.
Mine's the "other car" 76514 - the one poorly repaired to people who haven't seen it up close and personal. Is the paint perfect? No. Is there a slightly-wider gap in the front between the upper and lower sections? Yes. Do the carpets need to be replaced? Getting close. But dash fit is perfect and everything works. I've got the tools, books, jack. It is not a show car. But... ...it's a solid, good-looking, great-driving car. I bought it from Sport Auto three years ago this month and have put about $19K in it - the last $14K was spent with Rifledriver (Brian Crall) just two months ago down in Austin. The car runs and drives beautifully and does all the things a 328 is supposed to do and gets wonderful comments daily from young, old, men, women, and those that know cars and those that don't. The car now has about 37,000 miles on it. LFSC did a major in 2010 including clutch job and some tranny work. Rifledriver just did a 30K - plus a LOT of other stuff - five, six pages of work - including bringing the headlights into the 21st Century. I love this "other car." Joel Jacobs 1stFerrari@71
That car, 81592, has been for sale at Jean Lain Vintage cars in Savoie since the beginning of June with an asked price of 165.000 euros. And as always, Auction Houses do not know anything worthwile about our cars: 23.000 Ferrari 328 produced... Ciao
