Just as I suspected. Curious, how far off was your ride height from the WSM?
The first time I had my 355 checked several years ago, it was 2cm low in front and 4mm low in the rear. I had it adjusted to spec. Second time a few year later, it was about 8 or 9mm low in front and perhaps another 4 or 5 mm low in rear. Adjusted again, but dealer said they were out of threads on the shocks, and any further correction if the springs kept sagging would require new springs.

I think this is a more common problem than people realize, but most prefer the lowered look, so have no idea they are out of specification.

I only addressed it, because I was scraping the under trays and front skid plates all the time. Once raised to stock height, I very rarely had an issue, and usually only gently scraping the front skid plates on steep driveways. Once adjusted to stock ride height, the front fender gap is rather unsightly (large). Oh well.

Surprisingly, with my 430 Scuderia, I have never experienced a scraping issue, even on some scary steep driveways, I think the front overhang on the 430 is less?...stuff I would certainly have an issue with my 355.

From my new understanding of the reasonings behind the different coloured springs, I can imagine why they start to sag.

Mine was probably 30-40mm too low at the front and about 20 mm in the rear.

I ruined my bumper going up a driveway with a speed bump. The bump caught the skid plate and ripped the entire under tray clean off!

Hence why I started my obsession with fixing the ride height.

Will post some pics soon :)

I would recommend stock height in rear and one cm below spec in front. It will improve looks, yet you should still have plenty of ground clearance.

Got the car back yesterday. Height looked great, went for a very long drive.
When I got home, seems the car settled a bit and dropped about 1-2cm. Is this normal?

Do you guys suggest I continue driving to give it more time to settle, then re set the height again?

    Cheers!

Interesting. I'm surprised with new springs. The first time I had my car raised back (about 2cm) the shop left it on the rack overnight and in the morning it had settled about 1cm. Surprised them, but they adjusted it up again.

If it is only 1cm, I would leave it alone. More than that, I would probably have it adjusted back. It is going to settle more in a few years, so best to start as close to stock height to start with.
