Anyone know what this sport button is for? I thought in the US the 4th spot was empty. In the manual it shows that the empty spot is designated for the rear fog lights (different order of course).

It's for shorter/faster gear shifts and stiffer suspension.

It also changes the intervention parameters of the traction control and ABS braking.

Have you read the owners manual?

The 4th slot is empty in the US. I believe the above two posters are referring to the race setting on the manettino.

In my 16M I added a switch in that spot to toggle the exhaust values between always open and normal.

That's funny. An owner actually reading the manual.. "where is the manual located again?"..

    ;)

Is the 4th switch only for a Scuderia maybe? Didn't they get the ability to change the setting on the suspension independently from the manettino? maybe thats what the switch is for...

I'm just making a guess though, could be way off the mark

P.s. for the people saying read the manual, I say read the OP's post, he says

"In the manual it shows..." so I guess he has already checked the manual ;)

No. U.S. Scud doesn't have that 4th switch either.

OP - What year and model is this car you are showing a picture from?

    Greg,

You will be getting a postcard from a woman in Berlin telling you to quit flipping the switch.

Yes, that's an unlabeled blank, which all the cars come with, the OP has an actual CUSTOM labeled switch.

I know that Ferrari of Seattle custom installs this switch for the exhaust bypass. I was going to do it, but did the remote based install myself for a fraction of the cost.

Anybody know where to get the "Sport" label?

I have the custom switch for the exhaust, but Ferrari of Bev Hills had to use a fog light labeled switch because that was all they had.

That looks like a F430 dash. The sports switch is on the steering wheel.

I would guess someone has used it to customise something.

This is on a 2009 that was for sale at Ferrari of SF. VIN: ZFFKW64A390168811

If anyone figures it out, I'd be curious as to what they used the button for.

On my buddies Scud it is indeed a custom switch (installed by previous owner) for exhaust bypass.

It's a standard button used in the 360's; as they don't have the settings adjustment on the steering wheel (manettino).
