This could be interesting for you guys: SCW 2015
Good Afternoon, Loving this thread with the organized tours between fellow owners, unfortunately i haven't had the possibility to free up enough time to join but I am hoping to change that soon. I just had my Speciale Aperta washed and although they did a great job i noticed that the paint job Ferrari did is far from satisfactory.. Now i have heard of owners having their Ferrari 'Detailed' and saw some amazing results. Do any of you have any recommendations for this in Switzerland and perhaps any indication of cost? I live in Vaud but am willing to drive the distance if a particular company is recommended. Robin
please don't be scared to join tomorrow's ride to Todtmoos... - they will have re-done the fence by tomorrow evening Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry, I cant join. Have to work. Plus my 512TR still is in the shop for fixing the A/C. Remo is preparing our tour for this Sunday. Will post an update around Thursday. See you soon Markus
Thanks for organizing David but due to a heavy workload, I can't join as well. My 360 Spider needs a rest too after the trip to Lake Como last Saturday organized by Remo (thanks!). We experienced some strong shower of rain in the very beginning of the trip. Contrary to rumours and popular belief, I can firmly confirm that Ferraris do not melt even under heavy rainfall
same to me. still in the office. it's a pity because koblenz and the black forest is quite near for me. have fun!
Hi Robin, I could have recommended an excellent independent specialist near Nyon but unfortunately he is closing down. Proper detailing is an underdeveloped market in Switzerland, the average enthusiast does not "get it" in terms of actual value and benefits, and is even less willing to spend the money to get the job done right. I can give you a few pointers if you are interested, but no real recommendation.
Robin There is a famous company near Zurich which produces finishing and detailing products: Swissvax. And they also have a shop where they care for your car. I once visited their shop and was quite impressed. But I never had a car detailed by them and I am not an expert regarding detailing. But I am sure others know them. And if I remember correctly Remo (who organizes our tours here) had one of his cars detailed by them. If you could join our tour this Sunday (more to follow soon) you will meet Remo and can ask him. Markus

Marcel It would be a pleasure meeting you (and your F12)! Will you stay with us for lunch or do you have to leave earlier? Markus
I can highly recommend SWISSVAX in Fällanden, near Volketswil, Zurich. Have been there many times since 2001. Excellent products, expensive. Marcel Massini
