Red Bull are based in Britain, the same as at the inauguration of McLaren they were a New Zealand team based in Britain.

If you read my post, I wasn't comparing the gross number of titles, I was comparing the number of titles per year in existence :)

As of today and most of it's history McLaren is British
    Red Bull is Austrian/Thailand ownership

    Ferrari - started in F1 in 1950, 898 races, 222 wins, 6928.3 points, 16 WCC, 15 WDC
    McLaren - started in F1 in 1966, 769 races, 182 wins, 5017.5 points, 8 WCC, 12 WDC
    Williams - started in F1 in 1978, 627 races, 114 wins, 3204.0 points, 9 WCC, 7 WDC
    From https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Formula_One_constructors

    Therefore:
Ferrari - 7.715 points per race, 0.247 wins per race, .246 WCC/years racing (Do these include < WCC started?), .230 WDC/years racing
    McLaren - 6.525 points per race, 0.237 wins per race, .163 WCC/years racing, .245 WDC/years racing
    Williams - 5.110 points per race, 0.182 wins per race, .243 WCC/years racing, .189 WDC/years racing

Personally as winning the WCC is easier, McLaren dominates Williams.

Oh and a companies nationality does not depend on where its share holders live.

I think you just enjoy twisting posts to fit your agenda. Not very smart...
So now you are "comparing the number of titles per year in existence" because you don't accept that you are wrong! I leave you to it ...

Really not a biggie for me either. You won yourself a spot on my ignore list.

Yes, it may hurt your feeling, but yes McLaren is the most successful British team in F1, more successful than Lotus, Cooper, BRM, Williams and many others, including Red Bull that is under an Austrian racing license. McLaren is second only to Ferrari in F1 ranking. Everybody accepts that, but you have a different opinion.

    Bye, bye

By that logic Rolls Royce and Bentley are German.

There is a reason why they play certain anthems rather than oters when a team wins at the end of each race.

I am exaggerating, but remember the development wars, and tyre wars, especially with Ferrari and Renault from 2003 to 2006, Ferrari would be running, then Renault develop past them, Ferrari catch up, eventually one was victorious

Sorry - a bit off topic but does anyone notice that mclaren based all of its 2014-15 cars off of the 12c and p1.... They made a hole bunch of copies and called them different things!!

Not really. Yes, the engines have the same DNA but the cars are really quite different.

Their new 911 fighter is probably the best car they have ever made for price/ value and looks.

Not only that, but Team Lotus (the original Lotus team) is not even around anymore.

True, but again this changes nothing, if Ferrari left f.1 it would remain the most important f.1 team of all times, even if with may years Mclaren where able to surpass it on terms of victories and championships...somethings cannot be measured in numbers....
