Besides the Euro and the U.S. car differences, there have been a lot of other ones between QVs throughout the production years. Some cosmetic and some mechanical changes. Help me to put a list together. Here are some:
    1) 83' has black colored frame around windshield. 84-85's have colored paint as the rest of the car.
    2) 83'-84' rockers below doors are painted same color as the rest of the car. 85's are painted black.

most 83 came with TRX tires, late cars had 16inch rims as an option

What about the rear diffuser? On my 85' is shinny black. On 83' is matte black. Is that correct?

All '83-'85 US 308QV have a coolant thermoswitch in the expansion tank -- it's just that it's operation is more noticeable to the Driver on a stock '83 as:

'83 US 308QV (K-Jet without Lambda) = coolant thermoswitch state controls cold start air valve system (which gives the very noticeable high cold idle RPM) and EGR system operation (and affects the DigiPlex ignition advance curve), but has no effect on the belt-driven pump air injection system (which runs all the time).

'84-'85 US 308 QV (K-Jet with Lambda) = coolant thermoswitch state turns pulse air injection on or off (and affects DigiPlex ignition advance curve), but no cold start air valve nor EGR.

At least on the euros there are two different rear decklid fins (tall and short) My 84 has tall ones, I've seen a few 85s with short ones. I'm assuming it's an 84/85 difference, but it might not be.

AC compressor may be Sankyo or Aspera for 83, others should be Aspera only. Could be wrong but that's what I've leant earlier trying to source one. Relevant bits and cover are different depends on the compressor you got.

'83 airbox lid tapers smoothly all the way across entire surface; 84 and 85 lids had small step (aprox 3" from back) at rear of cover. Some (early?) 84s also had smooth tops.

Air intake snorkel different shape (a "bulge" on forward side of snorkel on 84 & 85).

'83 oil cooler radiator is silver.

(My '83 has black rocker panels)

Not really! My friends June 84 has the snaps on the fuse box cover and the car has less than 10K original miles.

My 85 has its "slow down" light as a circular opposite of the seatbelt light. I have seen others that are lower to the right of the steering wheel. Also I have seen some QVs with two black knobs (one for the trip odo, the other I am not sure) where my 85 has only one between the seatbelt light and the slow down light.

This is the result of going from two cats to one.

Simply put, the two car cars (83 and earlier) will have the two slow down lights on the dash each side of the steering wheel and the instrument pod will have two black knobs, one for the dimmer and one for the trip reset.

One single cat cars the dimmer is where the slow down 1-4 used to be. On the instrument pod will be a single slow down light and only one black knob for the trip reset

The only exception in the world is my car. Only one like this on the planet.

It is an 84 with one cat (50045) but it has the two slow down lights on each side of the steering wheel and one one the instrument pod.

This is a really weird thing. Mine has the flat ones and is a German car. Its only different on the Euro one's. Some euros have tall ones some have the flush. I can't seem to figure out what made them have what.

Also I thought all 308's had a factory black rocker?
