That is just ONE benefit. I certainly don't want to pull up to a light and have a 200k Turbo S or a 250k Huracan watch me in the rear view mirror in my 350k exotic italian sports car. I'm buying Ferrari because I want the best. That means better than these other brands in a straight line, on the track, in corners and in looks. Why should I settle for anything less when I'm paying top dollar?
or you could just not street race. do people really drag race every time another sports car pulls up next them??
Probably not every single time but most of the time if you see a Lambo, Turbo S, Mclaren or GT-R at the light and you are both first it's probably on. Of course you could choose not to but did you buy your extremely high performance Ferrari to baby it around town? I didn't. I bought a high performance sports car to have fun and drive it hard.
Yes around town i like to take it easy. Too many variables and rather not put someone in the hospital or worse. If I'm on an open country road with no traffic and clear visibility, then its a different story.
I have been one of the biggest doubters of how this motor will sound. I placed my deposit and spec'd my car in February still with those doubts in place. I still have my 458 and wonder each time I drive it what I will think. Saturday it looks like I will get to drive the 488 and I will finally know.... I have not speculated on here as until you're actually behind the wheel its all just nonsense.
Then get a GTR and bring it to Switzer. For $70,000, you would kill Bugatti Veyron, Koenigseg, LaFerrari, P1, etc. Those Lambo, Turbo S, Mclaren, etc, maybe you could kill them even if you start with 3rd gear.
I would imagine most of Ferrari's owner base couldn't afford or justify LaFerrari even if they could get one allocated...$1.7 million...
Yes front and back are great, better than 458 Its the side thats problem and why its not shown on cover
Not so much about the looks. Its about how it drives and sounds. I suspect the former will be epic. Dont drive one and you may not be tempted. Easier said than done.
Most true but there are several hundred that could do it But never given the chance Porsche let's the market decide with it's hyper car - Ferrari and it's dealers decide who gets what
I disagree...to me the best ass in the business ever is the 458 Italia. Image Unavailable, Please Login
