More Evanescence . Amy Lee is singing to me. Tom , I might need an intervention. I can't stop listening to her. I'm hooked with the monkey on my back.
Kirk... As far as addictions go, that's not a bad one. Only way to kick an addiction is to go cold turkey! I've been grooving too old school U2, pre-Joshua Tree. The Unforgettable Fire & War…T p.s. if you're jonesing for both eye & ear candy why not some No Doubt/Gwen Stefani?
I think it was Kirk and I looking for "more better" songs a week ago. That was definitely bootylicious!' Sounded like a sample of Valerie by Steve Winwood. http://youtu.be/cbKNICg-REA Btw, nsxrebel, last we heard from you, you were going to Electric Daisy Carnival in Vegas. Come on, dude, details! Make them up if you have to. T

Depends on what kind of music you like! Tonight, I've been listening to old school folk music - Pete Seeger, PPM, Joni Mitchell, etc...T
That's right , I forgot about that. Pics or it didn't happen unless , he got abducted by aliens. If that happened I say we give him a pass [/QUOTE] It IS a sample of Valerie, in fact, Eric Prydz did a remix of it first and showed it to Winwood. Winwood was so impressed by the work, that he re-recorded the vocals to the song to better fit the remix done by Prydz. As for EDC, I didn't take many pics, my friends actually had a go pro. The few pics I do have are, umm, well... lets just say I'm not sharing those! lol
I LOVE this song! http://youtu.be/WANNqr-vcx0 Drug references aside, the composition - building to a crescendo - and the underlying drum beat are masterpieces of modern music IMO....T
Been listening to some funk lately the JB's, The Popcorn, the sax in this absolutely fantastic. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=FqW8R9P3Cpg
+1. However, there was so much talent in the JB's and Parliament (noting some if the JBs were in parliament after being fired by James Brown) that many members could probably front their own band.
Arriving three doors up. My house rented out. Always some damn thing. Got to go see. So far five engines
At Starbucks, listening to One by U2. Pretty song with one of the best lines ever - You gave me nothing, now it's all I got...T
Now, Enjoy the Silence, by Depeche Mode. Hot streak at Starbucks. T Edit - Wonderwall by Oasis now on. Kudos, Starbucks.

Just some honest, in the pocket, groovy rock music. No frills, just soul.
