    I run the Brew City Cruise Night show. We had over 150 cars on 6/2 and 6/9. It was CRAZY!

    The Highland House is not amused. We are now at a crossroads - they want us to limit attendance to no more than 75 cars or go away. Limiting attendance is impossible so we are looking at some new venues that will actually appreciate our business. We estimate that our show brings in about $30k in additional sales over the course of the summer show season.

    I have some meetings coming up with potential venues, if those don't pan out we will have to go on hiatus for a while until we find a new place. There aren't many locations on the North Shore that can offer 150+ available parking spaces along with food, drinks, and bathrooms.

    This Tuesday, June 16, IS OUR LAST SHOW AT HIGHLAND HOUSE! We've been terminated there, the owner has enough money and doesn't want ours anymore.

    Effective June 23, the show is moving back to the old Brew City Grill location, 10250 N. Cedarburg Road, in Mequon. It's reopened under new management and they are eager to have the show at their place. The bar is called Pòga and the restaurant is Yummys. Burgers and other simple stuff, good car show food. The bar has Happy Hour specials from 3pm until 8pm. It will probably be a slightly rocky start as far as bar and restaurant service go because I don't think they fully understand how many people show up at our shows, but they are motivated to make things right and want to make this a great event. So far I've heard from quite a few people who are happy we are moving back there, the venue is great for our show, with an outdoor patio overlooking the parking area and much more shade than at Highland House.

    The owner seems to be Chris Ruud from Racine. The car will be at the Milwaukee Masterpiece in August.
