    Very sad, but at the end of the day, a better end for Jules. Ian is spot on, this should be another Earnhardt effect. NASCAR got safer after Dale Sr. passed, so should F1.

    Oh my goodness. I really didn't expect this. One one hand, terrible sadness, on the other, even if he had survived, i doubt it will ever be the same again.

    I think the family new some days ago. Reports started to come from the family that his conditioned had worsened.

    Who knew...Sigh. I recall his father said that he would grab his hand. His father wasn't sure if that was really him or just reflex. When i read that part, i thought there was a glimmer of hope.

    Anyhow, i think it's better than he's gone. He's finally in peace after suffering for 9 months.
