Hi, anyone with experience with replacing the 2nd catalyst exhaust with straight pipes in a 599 HGTE? If yes who did you use for the exhaust (Capristo, Larini, Fabspeed, ...) and for the fitting? Any issue with the MOT test? How long was the fitting and did you notice any results other than the louder exhaust note? Thanks for answering!

Not personally but might I suggest you go with the Larini sports cats - no emissions problems.

If you run into any emissions testing problems with the Fabspeed pipes, you can have the factory secondary cats reinstalled in about 15 minutes.

No cutting or welding required for the installation, very easily reversible. Total of 8 bolts.

The exhaust tone is the most obvious change on the car followed by a bit of a power increase.

I have a 599 HGTE and I deleted the secondary cats with the Fabspeed straight pipes. Fitment was excellent. I think it took the tech an hour to do the job. The secondary cats have no sensors and seem to be redundant if anything else in my opinion.... All I know is that the car sounds awesome... Still quiet at cruising highway speed so I'm having the exhaust valves unplugged so I can hear ...the car more... The car seems to breath better , throttle response is good and the shifting much smoother which in effect is strange phenomena... When you open her up those tail pipes sound like trumpets playing glorious music! I'm very happy with the fabspeed pipes.

Lino your experience after fitment is the same as mine. She is a much happier engine now. You can stay in a lower gear at higher revs (without that feeling that you need to change up a gear) and the engine loves it as do my ears. Fit an exhaust valve controller from Forza Componenti, you wont be disappointed.

A couple of people have suggested i take this route instead just unplugging the valves... Thanks for the suggestion :) .
