Ive heard enough 355 bashing and 308 328 uproar..First off the 308 328 were not such a great performing car..While it has a nice steering feel and trans feel it hardly feels like a true sports car..More like a nice Grand Tourer which it is..I had an 89 that while I loved certain aspects of the car it lacked everywhere else..Im not bashing the 308 328 series..They just are what they are..Yeah 355s suck compared to a 308 Ok!!! Whatever you say..

My cousin owns a 458. Talk about epic. I love the 355 but the 458 drives like a bat of of hell. QUOTE=Sean F.;144076992]Well I got to drive a 458 this weekend.....holy cow![/QUOTE]

looking at this thread, i totally understand how and why the 348 is what it is....it's honestly the best of all worlds......normally i don't fancy hijacking a thread but this has to be said out here (yes i know it was said earlier but it totally makes sense, at least to me).

After I had my first 328 then 308, I considered the 348. Didn't like it due to a more notchy shifter. Besides, it didn't seem significantly more responsive than my previous 3x8s. Maybe a 348 Ch would've made a difference. Anyway, I went back to a 328.

As I increasingly desired track worthy cars that can also be street driven, this is when the 328 was replaced by a 355.

Both amazingly beautiful but you will have more fun in the 355, no doubt.

I'm in the same boat. I've been looking at 335's for a while now. The values of 308's are same or a bit more (depending on the 308) than that of "most" 355's. This has me really thinking of trading or selling my car outright and waiting for the right 355 to fall into my lap.

    Hi All,
I just made the swap last week . 1980 carb dry sump 308gtb to a 1995 355GTB manual with Crema and red carpets . In the UK their prices were pretty close.....

many thanks Steve ..... it did take a hell of a lot of soul searching to finally summon up the courage to make the move. The early carb 308's are such amazing works of art....

I'm not too convinced (yet), that it was the right move financially , but emotionally i feel it was a great decision!
