    On her first road trip to Savannah, Georgia. I doubt this will ever happen again! Don't want to go over 9,999 miles and 900 miles in a race car for the street is not the most comfortable...

    4.0 RS spotted @ the New Albany Country Club, New Albany, Ohio.

    This image illustrates that the white color used on the 4.0 RS cars is really a 'marble white', hence the name "Carrara White".

    Well it is obviously not Stuttgart registered, because ST means "Kreis Steinfurt". Anyway it is a temporary registration plate. Private owner should be amateur race driver Mike Essmann Junior, "Elektro Essmann" is just a commercial.

    One of the better views that I've seen. Joe, what is your take on the new 991 GT3 RS? This fabulous thread was started by yourself as a tribute and end of an era of the manual 997 RS'. I have to say I eagerly awaited this car and hate to say I am disappointed. I'm sure it is far superior performance wise but I don't lust after it, don't like the wing and actually like the 991 GT3 better. But that's just me I'm sure.

    Regardless, thank you for this wonderful thread. It is far more informative than the other Porsche forums and dare I say, sometimes I look at this thread before the other F car threads!!

    The nice thing about the GT3 RS range is that there are a number of variants to choose from, and so there is something for everyone.

    I have heard the same sentiments you share, so you are not alone. It appears Porsche Ag moved the GT3 RS away from being a road & track car to being a track car.

    Lets see how it is perceived over time.

    As regards the end-of-an era 997 RS range which inspired this thread, for pure emotion and intoxicating experience, how can you beat a manual gearbox to select ratios from a mighty Mezger engine?
