A guy was found quite dead a couple weeks ago rotting in his car in the Palisades (Los Angeles) Police found more than 1,200 guns, nearly 7 tons of ammunition, bows and arrows, knives, machetes and $230,000 in cash in his condo.

They also discovered a Toyota SUV designed to drive underwater among the 14 vehicles registered in his name. Were any of
his cars Ferraris? He sounds more like a Lambo guy to me...

I heard this story. He claimed for years to be some kind of spy for some secret international organizations and everyone believed him, including his fiance. How else could he get millions of dollars of stuff?

Apparently he told his buddies that when he dies, these international organizations he works for will take his body and scrub any evidence of him or his possessions. So, they literally LEFT HIM dead in the car for 10 days believing this BS. No one came to pick up the body so they called the police.

One of the most bizarre stories of the year.

How do you make a Toyota SUV drive underwater?

That's easy. British secret service did it back in 1977 with a Lotus S1.

It must be the opposite of "not quite dead", right?

A mental case...at least this one passed of natural causes.

We had a guy here in Houston, that always claimed to be a CIA spook, but eventually his behavior drew attention of LEO, and when he was stopped for speeding, it triggered a high speed chase that ended when he was shot to death.

Don't expect the CIA to publically vouch for you, was my take away, from that!!!

I almost moved it seconds after it was posted, but decided to just let it be for a while to see where it would go.

In the latest news, they are now recovering his submersible Ferrari as well:

impressed that the lights are still on!?! not very Ferrari-like. In my old beast, stuff would stop working when the humidity was over 50% . . . .

There are different degrees of dead?

How about "very dead", or "not dead enough "
