These aren't the greatest pics, as they're the ones that the dealer me when they were waiting for me to pick up the car. I think it's an attractive, understated look. I'm waiting for the Grigio center caps to replace the factory yellow. I hope the pics help any who are deciding on how best to spec theirs.

    Bloody LOVE it.

Granted I'm a huge Crema and Sabia fan and I personally wouldn't buy any F-car without Crema or Sabia so I would love it, but yes I think its very classy.

The only thing that would put me off is the lack of prancing horse on the headrests, I really like that touch personally.

Extremely stylish with the light seats and dark carpets. Enjoy in good health.

Beautiful car. Unique color/interior combo. I bought my first Ferrari from Algar and had a wonderful experience. Did Tony Palmer assist you? Class act.

Tony came by my place to make drop off some paperwork and have me sign some stuff. His daughter is going to school a few miles from where I live, so he said he'd drop by sometime; he seems like a nice guy.

Very beautiful car. I love the fact that you went without shields. I for one don't think they add anything to the car. In my world, they only belong on the race cars.

    Congrats and enjoy.

Thank you, I was shooting for a classy, low-key kinda look. I agree on the shields*- to me they mar an otherwise pristine surface (they're kinda like the that 'beauty mark' [mole] on Cindy Crawford's lip; yeah, she's still beautiful, but would look even better sans blemish). The FIRST thing I told the salesman when ordering the car was "NO shields on this car; if you screw up and put 'em on, I'm not taking it ". He told me I was crazy, but I specced the car for me, not the next guy. I think that the shields look OK (at best) on certain cars/colors, but I think in general they're a little garish and ostentatious*. One of the things that really bothers me is that the yellow color of the shields is a different shade of yellow from the center caps, and they're both a different shade of yellow from the brake calipers- if they were all the same shade of yellow, I think it'd bother me less.

    Mike

    * No offense to those that like/love them, so don't flame me :). I have seen one or two cars (invariably with other yellow accents like center caps and calipers) that I think look good with the shields, I'm just not a big fan overall.

Completely agree. And that thing about the yellow items not matching is also one of my pet peeves with shields. Build a Giallo car, with shields, yellow center caps and yellow calipers, and you have FOUR shades of yellow within less than one square meter of the surface of the car. Sure, no offense to those that love them, many do, just not all of us.

Very nice indeed. My Italia was also specc'd for me and myself only, and I went for a 'sporty but classy' look, like yourself, which suits the car very well. Don't agree about the shields (at least not my carbon ones) but that is what is great - we all have our preferences. The one thing I do not like are resale 458's with low option specs and boring Rosso Corsa. It should be a dream to spec a car like this, live the dream! That's why I specc'd mine in Maranello!

Enjoy it fully! They are amazing cars.

Thanks all for the kind words. I'm happy at the way the car turned out (although the fire extinguisher was a bad idea).
