    Anything cooking for a summer Stoogefest? I'm scheduled for October. Hoping there is something in August so the dates aren't running so close. Any So Cal volunteers?

    Well we're selling our home in Hemet and just purchased a house in Idyllwild (up in the SoCal mountains-5,200 feet above sea leavel), a half hour even further east from all of you guys. The upside is that first thirty minutes getting anywhere from there is all curves and twisty highway. Won't be able to make the October date (but you already knew that), but if anything pops up before or afterward, I'm game.

    How did you get into Idllwild? Read the obituaries and go for the house? I here it's hard to find something up there


    I got caught there on a bike when snow storm moved in, all I had was a tee shirt on, or was that palm springs? LOL

    Nice place for sure enjoy it !!!!!

    Congrats Henry now the brotherhood has very accurate road reports for the mountains. Plus closer to drive for the annual oil change.

    Thanks for the nice comments guys. The move was a compromise between leaving California altogether, or staying fairly close to my grandsons and experiencing some small community atmosphere upon retirement. So anyone coming up this way is welcome to drop by. Just PM, text or call for directions.

    Since no one has stepped up for hosting an August date, its looking like October 10th may be the next one. Plenty of time to clear your calendars!

    I'm real close to finishing enough construction here maybe end of Aug
    Not sure I will have a lift installed at that time
