    FerrariChat,

We are very excited to announce that we will be having the fifth annual 'Supercars On State Street' charity car show again this August. The show date will be August 22nd, and will be held on the streets of downtown Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. As in year's past we will be featuring Luxury and Exotic automobiles, showcased alongside time honored and specialty makes and models on State and Front Street(s).

The format of the show will be structured as following for 2015.

We have two additions to the show this year, the first being a cruise following event check-in/arrival, and the second being that we will now be able to park cars in front of, and along the sides of the Capitol Building. This will add approximately 75 spots, meaning the total available show area with street closures totals just under 400 vehicles.

    EVENT SCHEDULE
“We’ve made a few changes for 2015, but the same basic features of the show remain the same. To make it easier we divided the show into three parts. Please read if you are entering a vehicle in the show.

    CHECK-IN & REGISTER
“PART ONE: Check-in and register at our new location as early as 8am. Arrive no later than 11am @ Faulkner Maserati- 6645 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. Detail & vehicle prep recommended here. Restrooms and breakfast/coffee available onsite.

    11.1 MILE CRUISE
“PART TWO: We are trying something new for 2015 with the addition of a short drive from the check-in/registration location to downtown Harrisburg. Unlike last year where we gave escorts from City Island to downtown, this year we will be leading groups on a short drive. Route information will be provided in each packet at registration/check-in, along with a lead car to guide groups of 25 vehicles to their respective show field. The drive will be exactly 11.1 miles for each group, and will be a nice opportunity to capture rolling shots of the participants, as well as video.

    SHOW AND GO
“PART THREE: The last part of the show simply outlines the events, starting with show hours: The event will be open to the public will be from 12pm - 5pm. Entrants will be parked either (a.) alongside the Capitol Building (b.) State Street or (c.) on Front Street where they will remain until the show concludes following the award ceremony @ 3:30pm.

$40 donation to register. Free to spectators and open to the public 12pm- 5pm
All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

More information can be found online at our website. Local caravans the morning of the show will also be organized for those interested.

Pre-register here: Supercars On State Street | Harrisburg, PA

We would like to thank our sponsors, volunteers, the City of Harrisburg, our participants and all of those involved in making this event possible year after year.

    Thank you!

I can't make it this year but had a blast last year even in the drizzle at time. Also enjoyed the caravan up from the DC area as well as "Breakfast in the Garage." Would highly recommend to anyone considering joining.

Down to 6 weeks until the show. We have a nice group of cars coming from over 9 states so far. The photo below highlights those who have recently registered. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society, in an effort to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Research.

MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER SPECIALTY DISPLAY-
Were looking for all vinyl wrapped/specialty painted vehicles, such as those in attendance over the last four years. Please help us spread the word so we can get others on board. Ideally we are looking to feature any make or model of Luxury or Exotic car that would be willing to wrap their car with pink camouflage to raise awareness for Breast Cancer. These vehicles will be featured on the website and on our flyer for 2016. We have had a few owner's come forward with interest in being a part of this special feature for the show. The wraps will be professionally installed and will be done in advance.

PLEASE HELP US RAISE AWARENESS FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH:

We are in the process of planning special camouflage wraps in pink/silver/black for anyone interested in having their car wrapped professionally.

"We will have the exact details sorted out by Monday, we are awaiting word on the pricing for vinyl and arranging to have them installed. Ultimately what we may end up doing is giving owners the option to have them installed at your leisure, we'll prep all the stencils exactly for each vehicle and you can go to any local installer of your choosing and/or do them yourself if you feel comfortable. All the same we will have many options to work around both the time constraints and to ensure safe install as to not damage the paint."

We are open to feedback as well so any suggestions would be great. We will be having someone onsite the morning of the show, so we should be able to wrap a few cars professionally the morning of the 22nd, however we'd be limited on time, unless we are able to find more professionals to help us. So far we have 19 car owners on board that are interested in being a part of this feature.

Please post or message/call us directly if interested or with any questions.

This is a render of what an R8 will look like once its finished:

No doubt it is! We have a Jeep SRT8 and a nicely done Escalade already so we can put you all together if you're interested.

PLEASE READ FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN WRAPPING THEIR CAR IN SUPPORT OF BREAST CANCER AWARENESS FOR 2015.

Here are the finalized details for the wraps, special accommodations can be made by request...

Here is the breakdown of exactly how we will be handling the wraps for the show. As this is the first time we will be trying to coordinate wraps, we are open to suggestions. Please keep in mind we are limited on resources and time, and believe the solutions below are the most effective way to arrange the planning of the wraps.

    Vinyl Camouflage Wraps 2015
Thank you for your interest in our show and the wrap in support of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Here is everything you’ll need to know in order to participate. Being that all proceeds benefit the organizers will be covering more than half of the cost of the vinyl for each vehicle. Here is the detailed breakdown of vinyl/usage.

    Vinyl per vehicle:
Approximately 1/3rd of the surface area of each car will be covered with vinyl from our stencils. As such, each of the vehicles will require three colors, and we figure we can cover 10 vehicles from an industrial roll. Three rolls will be ordered at first, one of each of the following colors: pink, gray and black. The final cost per vehicle from these figures totals $225.00 per vehicle, of which we will be covering $125.00 personally. The remaining $100.00 will be covered at the owner’s expense in the form of a donation to our cause. This will help us further offset the cost of the vinyl, shipping and preparation of the stencils which will be cut by hand.

    Time-frame for completing the wrap:
We will be sending out the pre-cut vinyl stencils to the address you’ve provided. Those interested are encouraged to have the wraps done by a professional, and we can provide referrals. You will also be able to wrap you vehicle yourself. We will prepare a guide for you to use as a reference to match the desired look we are going for. We hope to keep all the wraps consistent, so please try to do your best to match the references we provide. The material being used is ultra-high quality, automotive grade and is very easy to work with. If you have any questions, we are available to help in any way possible. That being said, we are requiring everyone to have their wraps done 24 hours before the show to secure your spot in the feature area. Wraps done the morning of show must be prearranged with us first.

    Display Area:
A special display area is pre-arranged for those participating. As mentioned, this area will be photographed and used for all marketing material for 2016.

Email us directly to confirm your vehicle: [email protected]

Thats going to be a fun drive, I just did the drive up from Miami Beach to Harrisburg at the end of last year and it was a blast. Do me a favor and email me directly so I can keep in touch with you to link you up with the group of 70-80 cars coming up from DC/Nothern VA that morning. Are you splitting up the drive up by coming up the day before and staying over in the area, or are you driving straight through?
