Thanks for sharing the pics. I love the DeLorean, just missing the flux capacitor and the nuclear reactor to generate the 1.21 gigawatts of electricity. Must be a fake vehicle
Simon I hope you can make it! And if Saturday should be better suited for you, you can join Remos other tour: Tour 056 | Bella Vista Stelvio! - Open Air Tours? - Cabriolet- & Sportwagen-Touren die bewegen! The only thing is that you have to get up quite early... Markus
Again, I won't be joining you guys unfortunately. But I will at a later date, I hope Keep the pics coming, they are great.
Unfortunately I have to bail out. Hanna´s mother´s sister´s daughter´s son and his fiancé asked for lodging on Saturday on their way from Bodensee to Hamburg, so we have family commitments this weekend. We could possibly make it to the second half of the tour. Where is lunch?
Hey Markus- how are you? Unfortunately I am having to fly last minute to Berlin tomorrow and therefore will not be here this weekend ): It seems like I am not destined to have fun lately lol
Hmm, looks like this coming Sunday, July 12th is not the best one. Plus I have quite a lot of work to do over this weekend. So lets postpone the next meet and have it on August, 9th after (my) summer holidays. Sorry guys Markus
Laguna Seca does not sound too bad Hope you will join us again when your car inspection season is over All the best Markus
I have no plans for August 9th, so count me in. Remo is not joining, so we will have to come up with our own route and restaurant (I should have had the steak tartar last time, it looked amazing). Let´s hope the two Simons can join, and of course Antonio and David. If only a F355 would also join, then we would have 308, 328, 348, [missing 355], 360, 430, 458 and of course the Testarossa.
William Great that you are in! And good idea about the line of all 8 cylinder Ferraris! This is a very nice idea! I will ask Dimo, the boyfriend of one of my daughters if he wants to join us as well. He has a black 348 GTS. Maybe you want to post in the 348/355 section if anybody wants to join us. Markus PS: I will prepare a route.
hello guys i'm going on holiday at the beginning of august. so i'm not sure i can join you. greets simon
Brunig-Grimsel-Furka-Susten-Hasli Rösti and Susten again Perfect weather, fresh at the top, scarce traffic. loads of fun. I can't help being amazed by how fun this car remains despite its age. Got to roll up your sleeves and socks to get things right, but then it is loads of fun and it does not feel too large on these roads. Tends to lose its composure on the most deformed pavement but otherwise, it is a total blast. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very nice! Do you want to join us for next Sunday, August, 9 th? We meet in Zurich (Mythenqui 50/60 opposite to Swiss Re) at 10.30 AM. We will drive some nice roads through the canton ZH and AG. So far the following guys are in (see below). Who wants to join as well? Hope to see you next Sunday Markus Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for the invitation, but I am in Asia again, so driving for me this week-end will be limited to taxis and the MRT in Taipei. Maybe another time !
Why don't we meet in Wassen and start for a long Mountain trip all together ? since we live in South Ticino, would be half way for everyone of us and we can spende hours on passes with our cars guys....Susten, Grimlsel, Furka.... Ciao Stefano
Stefano Thats a great idea! We could meet here in Zurich at 10.30 as usual, drive off at 11.00 and be in Wassen at about 12.30. So we still have some hours left for doing some nice passes. What do you and the other guys think about that? The only problem could be the weather. Currently the forecast says it will rain on Sunday. But lets wait until Saturday and decide then. Markus
Great idea Stefano. Susten, Grimsel and Furka are still on my Ferrari bucket list. And, as it was mentioned in this thread before, the more the merrier The only stumbling block here might be the weather on Sunday indeed. But I guess there is still room for postponement in August for such a tour if the weather forecast turns out to be right. Cheers! Martin
