    I installed on my Mondial, an easy DIY job as you just remove the red door light that faces downward, attach wires and substitute the projector light. They can be rotated to get the least distorted shield and/or the position desired. It is best in dark on flat surfaces, will be somewhat distorted, but "cool".

    The 2015 Mustangs have lights similar to that. They are on the mirror but they project the mustang pony. If you know anyone with a 2015 Mustang see how their lights work and see if you want door welcome lights. I know it isn't the same but its worth seeing something similar in real life as opposed to pictures. (As far as I know the lights are on GT and EcoBoost Models)
