I'm not sure if this has been posted here before, but what an awesome Miura image Image Unavailable, Please Login
happy times for the eventual buyer, it seems the collection cannot be sold individually and every resale of individual cars is subject to authorization which most likely will not be granted, whereas the resale of the entire collection is subject to authorisation as well. The collection practically must remain undivided in Italy. Excellent news for someone to create a Bertone museum in Italy, the estimate seems reasonable, but who will buy it ? http://www.governo.it/Presidenza/USRI/confessioni/norme/D_lgs_42-2004.pdf Articolo 56 Altre alienazioni soggette ad autorizzazione 2. Jane at speed in her P400S, fabulous in lime green, nearly the same color as the Aventador of 4 generations later we just sold, but much smaller, lighter and prettier. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Does anyone know if the following dimensions are correct for the Miura SV and what the missing dimension is? These are from the center of the A-arm mounting holes on the chassis to the center-line of the car. Front: Upper A-arm, Center-to-center: 27.49" = approx. 27.5" Lower A-arm, Center-to-center: 21.177" = approx. 21 11/64" Rear: Upper A-arm, Center-to-center: 30 7/8" Lower A-arm, Center-to-center: ? Thank you, Joe
Indeed, although I should say that Dennis has kept the car the way he received it in 1979. FWIW, its a late P400S, chassis number 4804, finished at Sant Agata on December the 4th 1970, fitted with engine number 30597.
That's what Petrolicious do with these pieces, its an owner-car profile, so its shared air-time, I thought the piece came out really well. Lots of mods: red-painted side sills, horn-badges in the spinner centers, polished cam-covers in the engine bay, front splitter affixed to the nose underside, etc. None of these would be any issue with me. The one thing I would correct immediately would be the sagging rear suspension. Not a good thing on a Miura at speed! On balance, it remains in its original livery.
I do as well. They really capture the spirit of the car and the passion of its owner. The Miura is my all time favorite, bar none, and it is especially great to see it in motion as it was intended.
