I realize I should run an ad. And will. But first was hoping for an early adopter - literally - to at least raise their hand in interest before it goes public. I had a broker briefly represent the car, but it just wasn't right; he's not all into the older cars and I know this car intimately.

I bought my black/tan 328 GTS to preserve and hold it, since we're just stewards of these things anyway. Mine had 11,200 miles on it when I found it nearly 2 years ago, just 12,700 now. I spent about $13,000 on a full-tilt service at FoA, plus tires, fuel and coolant hoses (Scuderia Rampante) and more miscellaneous details than I've room for here.

To say it's been obsessively maintained might be an understatement, but that's a job I actually enjoy. I pulled the radiator, fans, grill, lights, under pans, even the interior just to tidy it up. It is a 'ready to go' needs-nothing type car. It drives me crazy for anything not to work or to drip, and I will not/cannot replace a part that's not as clean as it was when new.

Anyway, I'm just at a point of shuffling cars around. I'd consider trading toward (or buying outright) a non-red 430 gated car, a Z8, super low mile NSX, maybe a gated Gallardo. Of course I'd sell directly too as I've never had good enough timing to do the trade/avoid sales tax thing.

So if this of any interest to you or a good friend, let me know and we can talk before I do a real-live ad on it. I know everyone wants to know 'the price'; all I can say is I'm not out for the last dollar on it. It'll be under 100k for what amounts to one of the lowest mile cars available. I'd rather find a good home and a smooth sale.

Of 3 Fcars I've sold in the last 9 years here, I've remained in touch and friendly with all. To me, kind of the point.

I like the approach you're taking. Best of luck with moving your 328 on to a new owner/adopter/guardian who will appreciate it as much as you have.

Thanks for that. Have had a couple very nice PMs as well. Guess we'll see. Drove the car today. What a treat!

What happened with RiteDrive? Last I saw he was selling the car for you? Per forum rules you should post an ad and link here in your thread.

I would definitely post an ad, with photos, chassis #, etc. My QV sold very quickly for very good money via an FChat ad.

I love black 308/328 GTS's. No garage space right now, but if you're under $100K asking then IMHO your price is very realistic.
