I really like that black one.... wow, a stunner
I know that car is in my dealers showroom...must be on consignment. If I could have gotten a Speciale at close to msrp, I would have done it even though the exhaust note is lacking compared to the Italia....putting up another 180k with my car as trade does not make sense....I would feel really irresponsible with my money...
I understand. That's a really big number on this black car. I bought both of mine pre-owned and can tell you that I paid substantially less than this....
Funny how I like Italia's better in black and speciale's like this one, white....I really love the looks of this car, but am not crazy about the full alcantara interior. 2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale Speciale Southlake, Texas | Southlake Motorcars I can't help wondering how it will hold up in the long run compared to leather. In any event, I am still a bit infected with Speciale fever and am still trying to justify trading in my '14 Black Italia with 1800 miles...I definitely want to trade in as it is a PITA for private sales.
The Spec looks so menacing in white. Alcantera will hold up better. Leather ages and cracks if you sit in it no matter what level of conditioning you do. Alcantera is synthetic and other than pilling where there is abrasion (leather would discolor / scuff with similar treatment). You can use a sweater shaver to get rid of pilling although I suspect you don't want to do this too often.
I think she is gone. Their website shows sale pending, listing gone from eBay...someone is happy...hopefully an f-chatter
I've had very good experience with alcantara. I have full alcantara seats on my Stradales. After 10 years and 18,000 miles on each one the seats look as good as new I hope the 3D fabric on my Speciale wears as well.
Good to know...one less issue out of the way to convince myself to pay through the nose for one. Still not there yet. That white one that just went has been tormenting me for the past few weeks....lol
May I be so bold as to suggest that you keep your Italia, get the Speciale, wait a year, see which you like/drive more, then cut one loose?
Topolino and Gararossa would miss each other too much if they were ever to split..... I couldn't handle breaking one of their hearts!!!
Yea I just can not see how someone could choose the Italia over the Speciale.... Sent from my SM-N915V using Tapatalk
I am also peeking and considering selling the scud and getting a speciale. But have also heard to wait until the 488 start to arrive and there will be more of a selection and cost could be less.
Question. Would gray be a color that would make the price higher or lower versus a red colored speciale? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Two ways of thinking - non-standard colors are less desirable and will therefore take longer to sell at a lower price / non-standard colors are more desirable and will therefore command a higher price but may take longer to find a buyer.
They don't call it "resale red" for no reason. Grey would be worth less IMHO than a red 458S at resale.
