cool early proto wheels!
Hi Peter, really a fine job with your wheels ! Maybe this is the last proto wheels set still alive in mint conditions across the planet. Take care... very precious item. Ciao
Exactly why I purchased a spare set of 5 wheels. The protos go on display. Thanks guys for the kind words.
Very clean engine bay on this one, which I saw at a sports car meeting just outside Oslo yesterday. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Probably a repost, but here's one for sale in Ohio... Used 1976 Lamborghini Urraco for sale in SPRINGFIELD, OH | Mershon's World of Cars
first they claimed its a P300 when it used to be Burgundy. when i told them it was a P200 (P117 clearly on the ID plate) they just ignored it. then they repainted a few years ago now its a P250! go figure...
This car has body 477, part of the batch of US bodies intended for the P111. As such it had a pre-allocated 15xxx series vin affixed to the dashboard, ie 15968. However this body was used to construct a P117 and was allocated a 30xxx series vin ie 30070 when new. Caveat emptor!
This one is for sale in Italy and illustrates just how difficult it is to improve on the original design! Urraco doors, Jalpa front bumper, Silhouette spoiler etc...and do I see a spoiler on the boot? I wonder what the interior looks like.... Keen spotters will see that the orange car is a P250 bodied P111 with the characteristic round side repeater mounted ahead of the US side marker and the P111 style bumper with single colour lens. The red car looks like a European bodied P250 with side markers and the later squarer twin colour lens bumper added.
You are correct. A friend just purchased the orange Urraco. My red Urraco was a Euro version that was sent back to the factory and restored along with several updates and modifications... unfortunately the chrome bumpers were removed and rubber bumpers were added... Brian

Does anyone know where I can get this sticker in Italian? They sell an English version on the Lamborghini Registry forum. Thanks. Image Unavailable, Please Login
