    I am considering purchasing a set of the OEM Carbon Fiber Floor Mats for my 458 Italia. While I really like the looks of them as shown on the internet, I personally haven't seen an actual set. Are they hard shell or flexible? Are they somewhat functional, or are they strictly for looks? Will they become worn and ugly after use?

    Any feedback would be appreciated along with any leads on where to find the best prices for a new OEM set. Thank you

    I saw them under glass at the Beverly Hills Ferrari service location. Look nice but not sure how expensive, probably quite a lot. Another alternative is to talk to Andrew at Exoticare who makes custom exotic mats as I know he does a "carbon fiber look" that is not the real deal but likely much cheaper and still looks awesome. http://instagram.com/droid6

    if you have any female passengers that wear high heels, or male...no judgement...they get destroyed. Ill take pics tomorrow and post them for you.

    only 3 months old, so far so good. They look really nice. My wife leaves the heels for the bedroom, not my F-car! I got mine through Andrew at exoticare...

    Carbon fiber is nice and all, but I put carbon fiber floor mats right up there with a carbon fiber toilet seat.

    They are flexible. Even I'm a lover of carbon fiber, I don't like them because the weave is not the same like on the other cf parts.
    It's the twill weave, not the 1X1

    I got some custom mats with the racing seat design - genuine alcantara, leather and stitches

    Actually, mine have held up extremely well and the mismatched CF does not show up to most eyes. After all, how many folks ride in a Ferrari and look down at their feet while doing so?

    They are a bit pricey but I like them.

    My mats from Andrew have carbon fibre for the heel pad, and leather/alcantara for the NART stripe match. Also embroidered with cavallino and SPECIALE.
    Better than anything offered by Ferrari!
