    Hello,
    I see that some 308 GT4 have a black grill on the front truck and engine compartment, while others have aluminium-style ones.
    Was that an option? On a blu sera metalizzato, which one should I have ?

    It depends on the engine.

    A 308 GT4 should ALLWAYS have matte black grills.

    Only the 208 GT4 (italian 2 litre model) should have silver (aluminium/alloy) grills ... and only one tailpipe (exhaust) and Dino Badges and ...

    Markus is right,
    all 308 gt 4 's grille were originally black satin,and 208 were silver ,but my 308 gt 4 have silver grille (painted by myself) as i think combo silver+ blu dino metallic,is better than black+blue,i prefer this combo ( more well done , in my opinion.)

    Early (at least in the USA) GT4 grilles were a very dark gray, almost black metallic, not actually matte or flat black.
    Later Gt4's were matte black, IIRC.

    Mine has silver. Appears to be original. Early 75 gt4 US version. Sn 09874.
