    I have not had the white but I have had the Rouge version which was very nice.

    The hotel Bel-Air has as well. I stayed in a canyon suite last fall. All booke this time. So I have been in two rooms so far. Here it is 12:15AM and no sleep. When the doors close it sounds like a cannon shot😡. Food changed as well. Not the level of a year ago. So checking out tomorrow. May just return home😩

    That sux . What about the Four Seasons or Peninsula. They look pretty ritzy at a slightly cheaper level?

    I can't believe. Why a hotel would build in doors that shut like cannon fire😳. I remember this problem from last year. I did have the best trip ever. Cars and people included. I would have moved in Casa Ferrari if allowed.

    I tried to tell you that twice when you were posting that you were getting a house there and what it cost. You said you knew what you were doing so I let it go. Oh well. I am glad that you overcame those issues and had a great trip.

    But u had already paid for the rental. I talked to the owner last night. He is going to do a refund anyway. Nice. I had a room problem with , 'Hotel Bel Air' as well. When doors close it sounds like a cannon shot😡 so I left days early. Home and recovering.

    Haha....great tale...I was fortunate my Dad lives in Carmel Valley and I had a great time at events...the rates soar during this week as all know.

    This is a very charming set of exchanges in a Faulknerian "stream of consciousness" sort of way. It's almost like reading a coded message from WWII in which there were deliberate quirks to throw off the enemy!
