Norman, which colour is this? Not sure if it's silver (Tungsten) or kind of beige/gold. Sent from my spaceship via Tapatalk.
It is Silver Birch (JB DB5). 5 Vanquish and 2 Vanquish S in that color. The other Vanquish S in that color is a right hand drive.
Ah, yes I remember, I think I've seen some pics a while ago. Very elegant and rare. Sent from my spaceship via Tapatalk.
Yes, your car is really beautiful Norman Congratulations !!! Is your Vanquish S "Meteorite Silver" ? As you say, these cars are currently a bargain in the US. In Europe, prices are a bit different... you did the perfect choice. Don't hesitate to share with us some pictures of your Vanquish S
It's been on and off for awhile, so don't rule it out as sold. Send the seller a note - he might be willing to deal. All that wait you've been doing will make the acquisition an event.
yes that is my vanquish S above.. here is another pic as well as a pic of my DBS stick convert w/ 4k on the clock... although I am considering selling the dbs... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
STUNNING Vanquish S you have here !!! Once again congratulations. The DBS is a nice GT car, but nowhere near as exceptional and RAW as the Vanquish S. We were talking about it with Vanquish80 several pages ago in this thread, Vanquish S and DBS are incomparable. But your manual gearbox DBS Volante is pretty rare, you should get a nice price if you consider selling it.
Looks like some nice rolling stock behind your Vanquish in the first pic. What others do you have back there (looks like a pair of Bentleys and few Ferraris) Why are you considering selling your DBS (I want to add one myself) so soon after acquiring it? Seems like you have the best of both worlds.
After testing all the new Gaydon-era models, the best compromise to my eyes remains the 2013 DB9. It is more evolved than the DBS technically (adaptive suspension with 3 settings, you can't get that with the DBS), it has more torque, a better and faster steering, it is more comfortable, has the same engine power, its automatic gearbox is a bit faster, and the car is better looking IMO. The DBS, except the fact it appeared in James Bond twice, doesn't get or propose anything exceptional compared to a 2013 DB9. It is only a matter of esthetic (not so fond of the bonnet "too much", but to each his own of course) and the fact it is available with a manual gearbox. I repeat, the DBS is a good GT car, but incomparable with a Vanquish S and if I had to choose a Gaydon-era Aston : 2013 DB9 by far.
the other cars are not mine just where the pic was taken. only considering selling the DBS because I have a bunch of cars that don't get much use.. I don't know its really good looking in the custom blue and super rare in the stick. I dins it drives so much better in the manual as well.
If I were you, I would sell it and get a sportier Aston as the N430 with manual gearbox Could be a great complement next to your Vanquish S.
I have some other sporty toys might just sell the dbs and keep the vanquis s . Have not listed it yet but its a rate bird with 3700 miles convert stick if anybody hunting one feel free to pm me
Wise decision Some recent pics of our '07 S "Geneva Motorshow 2007" car. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
very nice Armen. I have the same calipers... I am in France right now by the way. Will tae daughter in Marseille soon and spend a few days on the riviera
Maybe. I am quite tied up with the schedule. At best the Sept 03 could be the only day if I can squeeze that in
Thanks, the color is "Tempest Blue" Apparently and according to the AMOC register, this is the only Vanquish built in that color. @Pat : OK no problem, you have my phone number (if you don't PM me ) don't hesitate
Armen, It's good to see you here, (as opposed to the AMOC forum)...It seems you're passing on some great tips to out Ferrari bretheren... RC
Hey Steve, yes good to see you here A pleasure to post here, there are some Vanquish owners but many potential buyers, and I'd be glad to help them by giving some information about the car. Good evening
