Need some here here gang with my 308 GT4 windows... ...neither my driver nor passenger side windows will go up or down?...I went thru the normal start up procedure to take my car to the local cruise night and they simply just don't work. All the other electricals seem to be in working order. Any suggestions/thoughts here? Thanks!
The passenger side window of my car was noisy and slow. When I took the door apart (not a big job) I found that the channel that the window ran in was bent. Its part of the door frame and if someone uses it to support themselves entering or exiting the car and can be bent.
Thanks all. I'll have to check the fuse and relay...admittedly, I know where the fuse box is in the glove compartment but other than that I've got no clue which fuse it may be. Where is the relay?
The relays are in the front passenger side foot-well, un-clip carpet, remove access panel and see relay "glass lifter".
Thanks, Lorzen! It was indeed the relay. I swapped the "glass lifter" (G) relay with the "seatbelt buzzer" (P) and the windows are working normally and plenty of fresh air now Plus my seatbelt buzzer wasn't working anyway. We had to drill out the top snap on the on the access panel b/c it was riveted to the body and then the panel was easily removed. Anyone ever run into this? Pic attached of the panel and where we had to drill the snap out plus the swapped relays. I'll pick up a new Bosch relay and just bought a used 308 GT4 seatbelt buzzer on ebay. Excellent! Very strange on the snap riveted to the body? My two snaps are attached to the access panel only. I got my replacements from GT Car Parts in Phoenix Telephone 623-780-2200
