I cannot find any reference as to the Mondial Qv having a built in oil thermostat.
I am looking into relocating the oil cooler and will have longer hoses. I'm looking at an oil thermostat, but need to know if there's one already in/on the engine.
    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks Pete

I've never seen any indication of one on my 308 QV and I've taken a bunch of the system apart. From the parts book, oil flow diagram in the manual and from all the parts I've removed that the oil cooler is in line all the time.

That said the Mondial is a different car and they have bits here and there that are different from their 3X8 siblings.

The 308 motor sure could use one, though. It takes forever when it is cold out to get the oil temperature up. Some drives the oil gauge never shows that the temp gets warm enough to get the water out.
