Was really hoping to see some photo's from this event but I do not see a thread anywhere. What gives? Thank you to anyone who is able to add some photos!
There was a fabulous white rat rod TdF at the track on Tuesday. Been sleeping for 47 years. The owner and mechanic were real nice guys. I did not have s camera but the car was surrounded by the paparazzi. It had serious patina. I hope someone can post photos of that car. At the concour on Monday there were maybe 40+ pre 1972 cars. 2 x Mondials, both blue, one dark and one frb. A few SWBs, 275GTBs, maybe 10 GTEs etc.
Just saw these of the concour. https://barchetta.mediacenter.pro/-/Events-by-Year-Auction-Concours-News-Race-Rally-etc/2015/Concours/FCA-Concours-2015/?Dir=2191016
The white TdF. The photo does not convey the fabulous patina. The engine bay and interior are well used. https://fbcdn-photos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpf1/v/t1.0-0/11889461_742443889197951_846860822014017986_n.jpg?oh=11e91fe7ffe7fe462f8177688da179ed&oe=563DB134&__gda__=1446633973_27f473fef4c574abe507c74911a4415f General photis at the track. https://m.facebook.com/oldtimeraustralia?refsrc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com.au%2Furl&_rdr
Due to volunteering obligations I didn't have time to look at everything or take pictures of individual cars but was pleasantly surprised of lack of over-crowded feel usually present at most Monterey week events. Image Unavailable, Please Login

0969 GT, definitely the highlight of the FCA track event in my opinion Image Unavailable, Please Login
You are my hero! I don't want to sound greedy but anymore photo's you have I'd love to see, the grey Lusso is stunning. If I had to choose, One of each please! My gosh, what a spread.
Could you order those from the factory flared that way or was that done after it was sold? I know you could order wide Campys so I thought they would flare the car to take them. What are the dimensions of the Campys fore and aft? What other racing stuff does the car have besides the wide wheels, wide rubber and maybe side exhausts (can't see them in the picture). Last time I saw a Daytona coupe with rear flares was back when Francisco Mir used to drive a silver one.
Bitzman, As far as I know, you couldn't order flares. Those were put on in the early 80's, along with a second air conditioning evaporator in the trunk. Other than that the car was stock. At some point after that it was stored away for a long time. I have spent 3 years taking it all apart and making the best Daytona I could. The engine is stock internally. Here are two photos of the interior and the engine without the carb top cover. It was hoot on Lagauna Seca! Front and rear rims are 9X15 and 11X15 respectively The interior can be changed back to stock seats and belts I do have side exhaust that I can switch out with stock Bill Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
^ I agree, although it was fine in the shade. I very much enjoyed chatting with some of the owners. Some more pics. There are also photos on the FCA's 2015 event Facebook. Start planning for 2016 in Columbus, Ohio June 18-22. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Concours was great. However, i found that attendance was very light at Laguna Seca. Especially for a 10 year FCA.
Tristen I thought I saw you in Carmel on Tuesday but then you disappeared. At the track I was where the Admiral's car, the white TdF, Bills hot rod Daytona and Zac's rat rod Muira were. That was in the pits right near the start of the pit straight after the corkscrew. Did you get any photos of the rat rod Muira? Do you have a site where you posted your photos from this trip? You take great photos and I enjoy seeing them. You capture moments very well.
