Hey Scott, that's great that your driving your 308 from NEw Orleans, please say hello, we will be at the CI as well.

 

I drove out to Monterey from Philadelphia in my Maserati QP and had a blast. We drove through New Orleans on the way. This year we're shipping the 308.

Enjoy your drive and say hello to us in the green 308. We'll be everywhere!

 

Hi Mike - it been a while, haven't seen you at c&c in ages. Didn't know you were selling the 360.

I'll be up in Monterey as well, going to try and see the historics in Friday before I head home, maybe I'll see you there.

There is a group of 4-5 cars meeting around 12:30 Wednesday in Santa Ynez at the Red Barn for lunch and then spending the night in Pismo. We will probably leave from Pismo around 9 am to beat the traffic up hwy 1. We will probably stop at the Ferrari gas station in Carmel Highlands and checkout the 488. Then spend the afternoon at Baja Cantina.
My schedule
Thur. I signed up for 100|OCT Night at the Auctions ? 100|OCT

Fri. from 4-8 I signed up for this Exotics on Cannery Row

Sat doing Italian Concorso and La Carrera Panamericana Fiesta dinner

Sunday either go over to track or head down Hwy 1 around 9am

 

Scott Oshry, Zac Dugger and myself have organized a rally to Monterey. Beautiful roads.
And of course like always, it's FREE! (Remember the Pauper's Run?)

Thursday August 13, 2015, 50+ Ferraris and other Exotics will caravan from Calabasas, CA to Monterey.

We leave at 9:00 AM from The Commons in Calabasas.

There will be a lunch stop in Avila Beach.

THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THIS RUN. NO $500.00 IN AND OUT BURGER.
There is really no need to pay money to drive to Monterey in a group!

We will have stickers!!!!! That's what you get for a free rally.

wow, great job on the slideshow, thanks. how many participants at the werkes revival event? who are in the pic at the 9:48 mark? at first i thought arnold, but that is shorter, i thnk.

 

It is Arnold Shwartznegger at the 9:48 mark. He is allot shorter in person.

There was quite a showing at Werks. I'm not sure of the numbers, though.

 

I received an e-mail invite to register for the event. The e-mail also mentioned Cal-T drives which I decided not to sign up for since I had already driven one. I wish I had signed up for Cali-T drive since they were letting people drive the new 488 GTO and giving rides in the La Ferrari. They had 50 people on the wait list when I was there that didn't sign up for the drives.

 

Ed, I missed you again. We just drove into Casa Ferrari around 1pm on Thursday. They asked if I wanted my car cleaned. I said how much and they said free. Miguires had guys wiping down cars with their detail wash and spray. They also gave out goodie bags with a bottle of the spray and towels. Went to walk into the food area and a lady asked if I had purchased my car from an authorized dealer. I told her yes and she looked for me on her list. When she couldn't find it she had me fill a form and gave me a wrist band. They had four 488s for test drives. They said they were by invite only but I could drive the other cars there. The food and champagne was excellent

I am surprised I didn't see you. We seem to run into one another multiple times at previous Monterey Car Week years.

 

I test drove the 488. Huge improvement over the 458. Stronger pull at low revs and better shocks and handling. Case Italiano was terrific.
