amazing combo
The shields and mirrors are really done at the dealer level? Dealers are still responsible for installing certain items? I thought that practice had fallen to the wayside; I learn something new everyday. So is there any chance of you telling me the serial number of your new Speciale for my database?
Quick question, did you order two sets of wheels? The blueish and gold ones? Nonetheless this is probably the best spec i've seen. Congrats and enjoy it mate!
Thanks again everyone for your kind comments. Was on vacation till today and boy am I missing this car the entire time. Eager to get back behind the wheel and rolling again! I agree with your outlook on the near future trends for modern day Fcars. Lets hope we are right! Yes, my front aero flaps and my rear aero flaps are carbon fiber, but painted over with Nart Blu. I did not leave any carbon options unchecked when I specced, but I felt I needed more color and less carbon, so, I just asked the factory to paint over the carbon. Thank you Chem! Yes, I have a full set of blackish blue wheels, full set of gold wheels, 2 sets of TPS units, and 2 sets of tires - Summer and Winter!
Someone posted pictures of your car on Facebook and I said, "Did you get the serial number?!?" And they said, you have to go to FerrariChat and ask FLU. Everyone knows you and your car; it's truly one of a kind.
This car is simply spectacular! For me the black wheels make more sense and balance better with the rest of the car. The custom painted CF mirrors are so cool, I might have to steal that idea
Thanks again everyone! TY Welford, My car is Bianco Avus. However, when compared side by side with another friends Bianco Avus, mine is definitely more closer to stark white instead of having the typical warmer white hue I was expecting all along. No matter though, I love the color variances equally. On page 1 of this thread you can see the color of the car in it's natural state. Page 4 and 5 of this thread shows Bianco Avus as well albeit through an Xpel Stealth (matte clear bra) wrap applied. The wrap is not a solid vinyl and so the color you see is still Bianco Avus through the matte clear bra.
I have not had a chance to do any more photoshoots with the car yet. However, this video was just released today. The talented group at Northwest Auto Salon put it together showcasing some of their fine work in paint protection and video production. Hope you enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ls4M69opl6M
Very nice, although the blue interior is a bit too much for me, the art stripes are nice. Something a lot of Ferrari dealerships are afraid to use, an instead opt for the black stripes.
Someone should open a shop like that on the west side in LA. Such attention to detail. You figure there would be tons!
Wish I had those skills and equipment to do it myself. Guys like these are artists when they do such a good job. Nice fricken car OP. White is awesome on this car. I just got my Italia in June. I still keep looking at this car. I cant justify the irresponsible additional spending (in my case) to keep the dream house fund healthy where I will have at least a four car garage, two deep for each parking lane....I'm not ready for the I'm alive now, better get it while I can justification...lol http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-458-/201394235303?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2ee40827a7&item=201394235303
Thx fellas! I'm slightly surprised this old thread is being brought back occasionally. I recently took a few photos because I now have Nart Blu wheels on the passenger side (still gold on the drivers side)! Hope these links can be viewed! I'm kinda a Flickr newb. https://www.flickr.com/photos/76706395@N05/20884694316 https://www.flickr.com/photos/76706395@N05/20724208649
Epic! The girl is hot but so is the car, so one thing at a time... please post separately... but post!
