Sad he is selling it, he loved that car. I remember him saying even being who he was he had to buy 2 Ferraris a year for 3 years to get one.

 

He drove it an average of 137 miles per year.

 

He is 5 years away from 80. Crazy for me to even grasp that. I remember 5150..VH first album with him. I remember the break-up..I remember the reunion..then the break-up..then the Roth and Sam tour. He still rocks tho..still plays..still a rock star..let him be and do what he wants. He earned it.

 

If I had the means, I'd pick that up.

Is the car standard Avorio or some kind of custom color ? I remember reading somewhere that it was standard Avorio, but a misconception made some people believe it was a custom color called "Cappucino" because a quote form Sammy saying "I nickame it my little cappucino"

Avorio and yes, someone misunderstood the capuccino thing at some point.

BTW I'd also buy that if I had the millions. I can think of Rosso-based specs much less interesting that this one.

Brown, green, avorio are the most underrated Ferrari colors

 

I didn't realize these electric batteries were so hard to come by. Do the dealers not stock them? I'd think with his resources he could just pay to have one flown over from Italy.

Right now the delivery time is 6 months and up for a new LF battery.
