Drove from Atlanta to Miami in little more than 6 hours about 700 miles.
Drove from Atlanta to Williston, ND. 1750mi in 20 hours straight. I only stopped for gas and fast food.
The 355 is a great long distance driver. I had the carbon fiber sport seats and no back issues.
If I remember correctly I didn't even get 200mi/tank. Whatever that comes out to.

That is horrible fuel mileage. I just ran to Billings to pick my brothe up at the airport and round tripped straight home for 450 miles the other day and got 23 miles to the gallon.

Being in rural Montana if I'm leaving town with one of the cars I'm going to put on some miles to get anywhere. Longest I've done at one sitting was 645 in the 348. Just under 600 in the 355.

    I track fuel & mileage.
I haven't done it in a year, but last check was 18mpg.
The major was early this year, perhaps its a little better

Another 200 miles on Sunday. No issues ( except other drivers and gf complaining about back and noise). Building confidence. Very pleased.

I find that the car sounds and feels better, more planted, less strained, at 90mph than 70mph. Not sure if the mpg is any better but the engine certainly seems happier at the slightly higher speed.

I drove mine between DC and Tampa at least a dozen times, usually with a stopover in Charlotte. The longest time in my car though was coming back to DC from a race at Lime Rock Park in July a few years back. Got stuck in NJ traffic and my radiator fan fuse blew up, leading to hours in stop and go traffic with the windows down and heater at full blast to keep the engine temps down.. Not sure if that had anything to do with the very annoyed gf and bad breakup the next day.

My longest was Seattle to Chicago, solo over two days. I did Seattle to Bozeman the first day and then Bozeman to Chicago non-stop the second. Well, when I say second, it was over 24 hours. That's basically 700 the first day and 1300 the second. That was in 2012, over the first two days of ownership.

I drove 1000 miles over two days when I bought that car, Think I did 400 miles day one and 600 day two (Miami to Richmond). I got just over 20mpg on the trip and it was surprisingly comfortable. Worst part was no cruise control so I had the beginnings of a blister on my right heel from holding the gas pedal the whole time. Otherwise it was a great trip.

I know a lot of people say cruise control on a sports car is pointless. WRONG. Trying to maintain the max speed you think you can get away with for many hours is hard work. Although it is a bit easier with the 355 because every mph sounds different.

    Agree completely mate.

What I often find is that, on the motorway, a fair few other drivers lower their window when they see the 355 approaching in their mirrors. When that happens, I drop it a couple of gears and give them a blast of Capristo music. Usually results in grin/thumbs-up.

    Oh you have a Capristo

Maybe too loud or drones at continued 5000 rpm????

I have a 2.7 with hyperflows and a Larini silencer.....all good anywhere in rev range
Had a Tubi....yuch ....droned on and on on the motorways...ditched.

I did not want to say it first but i totally agree on the cruise control. It is quite difficult to stay like 8 mph over consistently for 12 hours. Passing was fun though.
